I enjoyed this tutorial and appreciate all the helpful tips along the way. I don’t like fray check because it does dry hard. I will definitely tryout fray block. Thank you for sharing your expertise. 😊
You are so helpful for me! Thank you. I have the same machine. I bought it last week. My first project is a little girl's dress. I crocheted the bodice and I'm sewing on a gathered knit fabric skirt part. Thanks for this video, rolled hem napkins are coming to my to do list soon. Greetings from lovely Chattanooga, TN.
Just inherited a serger it doesn’t look like this but I never knew it could do this. Back in the day we had Nancy notions on a tv channel. She has some videos on here may she Rest In Peace. Now we have many videos and thank goodness for RU-vid for ppl to learn. I appreciate all tidbits tips hacks that all sewers make. I like the fact your not doing it one handed like a lot including myself do. It helps to have a webcam or camera recorder or a person to do it. Thanks for your tutorial
Thank you for this tutorial. I just got a serger and plan to make some placemats and napkins as a house warming gift for a relative. I have hemmed napkins on the sewing machine in the past, but want to do the rolled hem on my serger. This is very helpful info! I had not thought about letting the serger cut the fabric for me. I had planned to cut each napkin first, then hem them as I did on my sewing machine. I'll have to try this method. Thanks, again!
