although there are so many variables, like wind and diving west is worse then driving East etc, I finally did a long trip without anything and amazingly using a deflector was nearly the same as what I was getting without anything on top. but we are only talking about 4-5 more MPG. or a gallon or $3.50 every 100 miles

Interestingly i am presently on my second test run (500mile+) this time so far on this run between 4 to 5 mpg more (22 to 26.5mpg) but I thought it was more last time.
