Rooftop Solar - Installation, power, and maintenance 

I did try a Maguires ceramic wax a on a couple panels but can’t tell the difference. I might try a better grade as I have a bit leftover from coating my car.

I use std time of use. $.20/kWhr at night. I actually have not had the solar for a year yet. But expect to come out fairly close. In that case, the charging will be nothing.

S Kline I would take those with a grain of salt. No vehicle is perfect and it seems some Tesla owners do look for things to post. My Mercedes RV I bought 3 years ago had 10 times the workmanship and quality issues. My model Y has been great. First new car I haven’t had to bring back for a recall or to fix something. Yes it has some quirks like occasionally having to wait at the door for it to wake up and let me in. For me it’s a good trade for not having check engine lights.

John Leung yes, I’ll be retiring from this but wanted to do it a couple times to see if it worth doing. It is certainly optional.
