I didn't realise Birmingham City had so much backing, its not been great the past couple games but neither has the past decade or so, they are going to having a run in the prem soon if the backing they have continues with them. I hope they do, be great to have them back in the Prem. Same with Ipswich be good to see that club back up the top.

As an Ipswich supporter, we did well to come back from 2-0 down, and we are not going to win every game, are we? Birmingham did press high and in packs in the first half, and we didn't overcome that, but they didn't really create many chances other than the goal, and we were getting on top when the second went in, which was clearly fortunate for Birmingham. They were never going to be able to keep that pace up, and we were able to get on top after the substitutions, and one of Mc Kenna's strengths is being able to create a strong and effective squad, and then using it, with the greater substitutions allowed these days. We have our game in hand at Rotherham on Tuesday, which is a big opportunity to extend the gap to Leeds to ten points, which is a healthy buffer, as it keeps the pressure on them, and we will be one point behind Leicester. On Saturday they go to Boro and we are at home to Swansea. I think it is a bit mean people saying Rooney will not be a decent manager. They could be right, but he did well at Derby under the circumstances, so give him a chance!

@@ScoobaySpot on, he had a great game and we capitalised as soon as he went off. You put us under a lot of pressure first half and despite a bit of luck with your scuffed shot and own goal we did well to get a point. You've got some decent players and I used to hate going to your place as we never got a result, I reckon you will be up there
@@glencurtis6052the previous 3 games under Rooney have been the worst I’ve seen us play in a very long time. This is an encouraging sign that there was method behind the madness but we’ll have to see. Hopefully these dropped points won’t demoralise us too much.
Ipswich fan here. We had same thing with Roy Keane years ago…media was all about him and not the club. Thought you looked decent today but also thought you looked decent under eustace 🤷🏼♂️ not our best performance, we haven’t quite hit our heights since last international break but have managed to pick up key points still including today

@@ScoobayI think they are on a wind up, Town fan here and Rooney's first half tactics stopped us playing like no one else has this season. Second half you got tired which was always going to happen as we knacker every team we play but that stamina will come, it took McKenna a while to get us into this shape
