Roopak Vaidya
“Never stop listening, never stop learning, never stop training"; this expression is a true fact of Roopak . His ability in recognition of Rhythm and Tala is sweetly astonishing and amazing at the age of 3 years. He is the son of Shri Gurumurthy vaidya who is a reputed Tabla Artist. Apart from his father's training, Roopak also has the blessings of Pt Ravindra Yavagal who happens to be the GURU of his father. He has performed solo and accompaniment in SRI RAMAKALAVEDIKE, Sursagar, Saptak, Chinna Kalanadam, Big Banyan Tree and many more cultural fests and has also performed solo’s , Tabla Jugalbandis and has also performed in Kathak. He has secured first rank in a national level music competition , conducted by TIMES OF INDIA . Roopak has all the ability to perform before the audience to win their appreciation and applause which is an important quality for future musician.
