When things were bad in Ireland, no groups came to Ireland because of trouble etc in Northern Ireland. Rory showed up every year to tour the country. Honest, edgy and full of killer riffs. The Stadium on South Circular Road and walking out as the sweat dried into your damp clothes. Were the busses still running or did I really care after what we had seen Rory and the band do onstage tonight?
in my opinion and that's all I'm saying its my opinion he is the finest rock blues musician who ever walked the earth. He is a master of the guitar, incredible player, he had it all!
I had the privlege to meet rory gallagher one afternoon in huntington beach ca at a club called the golden bear we talked briefly and i gave him my bussness card and added that i thought he was one of the finest blues rock guitarests around.he thanked me for the complement .dave parr parrs guitars.
His bass player Gerry McAvoy is one of my early influences on me as a bassist. I think just about every bass player wishes they could play with a guitarist who was as talented, creative, and passionate a player as Rory Gallagher. Loved his music and still do!

Hi..I remember this album coming out..to me it was Rory going back to his rocking stuff..like when he first came to the usa..this tune was one of the best...Thanks...DH
