Ridiculously good! Both are monsters at their craft. And Rory not only plays all instruments (as does Tommy) he's blind and plays guitar on his lap strung right handed and plays left handed. Amazingly talented!
Rory you were great then, you are greater now. You did a fund raiser show for us in Newcastle ,WY about 13 or 14 years ago. You were also gracious enough to do a music clinic with our High School band. I was surprised by you playing your sax as you let the kids perform with you. What an awesome day and evening. Rory like the way you harmonized Tommy's bass boogie then went into your on dissonant lead solos to give a contrast..and then hers more dreamy inter change on the ballad.Great blending sharing between two legends...Thank God for this. Supreme guitar duet...
Listen to this again, listen to Tommy's rhythm playing..then tell me Rory is a better player! Now to my point, it's naive and disrespectful to musicians to catagorize them like they are athletes or something...you obviously know nothing about the work , blood , sweat and tears that are required to play at a professional level...listen to the music and learn, don't judge.. peace
