Massiel Largaespada as if you are attracted in your forties by the same things you appreciated in your teen years, as if there is only one person you have to spend your entire life with. These barbie stories have caused people to make poor choices and stay attached to toxic people. And even if Jess might impress a teenage girl, we can all see he is one of those toxic persons. There is a lot of drama around him, has no respect for others, acts like a jerk most of the time with no moral compass, screws things up, acts like some kind of Don Juan unable to maintain a stable relationship, treats poorly his girlfriend in so many ways, is so immature - even if that is understandable, given his age. But to think someone is the one because he or she has an interest in punk culture and has read a couple of books, even though the list of red flags spreads over miles, that's just...wow
@@prody666 Wow that's a bit too extreme...sure season 2 and 3 Jess wasn't a bf material and he clearly had a bad attitude, but he wasn't a bad guy deep down. He truly loved Rory, but didn't know how to communicate and he clearly regretted hurting her. Also he never acted like some Don Juan, are you kidding me? xD That's the opposite of Jess...I think that season 3 Jess wasn't made for Rory, but season 6 def was...hate how people refuse to admit that Jess actually changed and became a good man in the end..he had the best character development
This scene proof that he's always the one, he's the only one who can get along with both Lane and Paris, Lane is friendly but Paris just doesn't get along with people, this scene shows how much Rory Jess compatible and this intellectual conversation is awesome, if only the writers add another scene like this, even with Madeline and Louis.
notice how when he asks "you really want me to go ", she doesn't say yes, rory says " i really want to avoid a fight with dean" she actually wants him to stay
Jess and Paris friendship is everything 🥰🥰 I love how Jess was the only bf that liked Paris especially for who she was. He even dealt with lane in a good way
I understand Jess more bc im grown. sad how he was shipped off to his uncle's he barely knew and the town thought he was bad from the start. it's also refreshing seeing a character be book smart but not a great student. it's still bizarre he didnt graduate. also i love Paris and Jess talking about the Beatniks and guys vs girls
They should have had Jess and Paris as a couple Paris would not have let him get away with half the crap he pulled. They both also had issues with their parents which would have brought them closer together, also Jess didn't really have anyone he could count on so being in a relationship with someone as intense as Paris might have been good for him.
unpopular opinion: I get why dean shouted at her 🤷♀ yea he should've let her explain but imagine finding the guy who is hitting on ur girlfriend at her house when she didn't even want her own bf there to begin with. it's the "other friend that the s/o shouldn't worry about" until they break up...
Watching this scene, Paris and Jess would've been a very interesting couple. They might come from different backgrounds but that didn't stop their conversation to be stimulating and in sync intellectually.
No but I think it would have been interesting if she tried to go along with setting them up after Paris told Dean she thought Jess was cute, he was always for Rory though! Although I can't stand Rory anymore! 😔
It’s ok for girls to have guy friends, Dean was so territorial. I think she should’ve just told dean he was there and explained before dean showed up. If he has a problem with Jess being her friend, that’s HIS problem.
@@ourmaddworld3326 awww come on toxic feminist ofcourse girls can have guy friends...S. L. U t. S like Rory doesn't deserve guy friends... Dean was a good guy he suffered alot for this shameless woman Rory who destroyed a family too..She here knows that Jess was trying to get her... Here Rory acted like innocent girl she knows how to scold Tristan and stay away from Tristian.but doesn't know how to scold Jess aww that means she started falling in love with Jess so she didn't squarrel Jess..Poor Dean Rory only know one thing jump from one man to another...If I wear Dean I would have thrown that ice-cream on her face and would have left their...Rory really deserved a slap from Lindsy..
@@saniya2445 Because it wasn’t just as much deans’ fault as it was rorys’? Last time I checked he told Rory he was divorcing Lindsay even though he never discussed divorce with his wife at all. I’m not saying Rory never did anything wrong, of course she did. She was dishonest with him whenever she hung out with Jess, she slept with dean while he was married then acted like it wasn’t a big deal. But you gotta admit that dean was super possessive while they were going out, and he often yelled at her and publicly humiliated her, then he blamed her for them sleeping together. Pretty sure she didn’t force dean to sleep with her and visa versa. Let’s just all agree they’re both toxic as heck and better off dating other people. Personally I also believe Jess deserved better then Rory by the end of the show.
