Sounds like typical BS from a company in the oilfield when it comes to bonus checks. I was there everyday, worked every hour of overtime, produced units and exceded quality control expectations, only to get a messily $750.00 while the bosses buddy's who were never there and stood around their toolboxes got huge fat bonuses. They even gave a guy who got us the work in ASME by using his name a small $600.00 bonus despite him working overtime and going above and beyond also. So I feel for Rosco. That said, we all know Ricky is the owner of the company and that's why he got a fat bonus check.
Maybe they don't see it the same way as you do? I mean you just made it sound like your the perfect employe. We all know that's not likely. The perfect employe don't exist any more.... and remember it says leave a comment not a compliment 😅😅😅
@@sexistspaghettios oh I know I'm not perfect. I'm a 7th grade drop out so no way I can be a perfect employe. I do know in the 40 something years I been working I have never seen a perfect employe. I'm sure theirs a couple out their but we have never met one....
This happened once at my work, where another warehouse double submitted their bonus list by mistake, and it bumped that bonus check along the line by employee ids because the system wouldn’t allow a double payout. At that point it was a lottery, basically, as to who got what. Some got more than twice what they were supposed to, and some less than half. The company eventually made it right by paying everyone that was underpaid the difference between what they were supposed to get, while those that got the extra kept it.
Oh wow. Here in Texas it's illegal to cash a check that was mistaken by an employer. If you do, you either have to keep what was actually owed to you or give it all back. Otherwise the employer can garnish your wages, if they don't fire you on the spot, or seek legal action in which the state will garnish your wages from your next employment plus fines and possible jail time depending on the amount. Happened to a coworker who was supposed to get a $100 bonus, got $100,000 and never showed up. Most of it was returned afterwards and she got 10 years..
It wasn’t exactly cashed, it was direct deposited into people’s accounts. I work for Walmart (at a distribution center), who’s the biggest employer in the world. Assuming it effected the whole company, it would have been a nightmare to navigate that based on country and state laws. Probably cheaper to just run with it and move on. Walmart also tends to have a rule that if it’s a rule in one place it’s a rule everywhere (at least in the states). So if they can’t legally take it back in one state they can’t take them back in any state.
@@christphern makes sense. I've never worked for a big Corporation like that. With so many employees, it would probably just be cheaper to pay the rest the difference. I've only done construction before making enough to start my own private security and firearms company. Luckily I sign the checks and confirm all direct deposits only in Texas, but my old boss paid an accountant to do it. Old man learned us both a good lesson. But thanks for the insight! It's always nice to learn how other companies run their top level. Even though I will never more than 200 employees before I give ownership to my ceo and retire. Can I ask how it is working there? Lots of distribution centers have been getting a lot of flak for bad working conditions. We only have one. A random youtube comment from another companies worker may not help or it might, but any concerns and comments are always taken from us.
Time to see a lawyer with all the appropriate paper work detailing work hours, promised pay, etc. It'll get straightened out REAL damn fast once Corporates money is in trouble.
Looks like it's time for Roscoe to teach Ricky the difference between a pit bull and a Chihuahua. You can take the bone from a chihuahua and not lose your hand.
Ive taken bines from many a pitbull they learn quickly if they go for my hand i go for thier throat i dont do resource gaurding and agression im the agressor and the gaurd pretty easy to teach if you dont bitch out about it its not the difference between a pit a chihuaha its a difference in being able to put out a vibe that allows them to find out before they fuck around
It's not illegal to ask for money back on an overpayment. They could simply get it back as a company (their right under federal and state law) and then distribute it properly
It’s not that cut and dry. At a minimum it depends how the bonus was decided and any policy or employment contract in place. Without any misconduct or incorrect metrics, an employee could make a case out of it.
😂😂😂 Roscoe shouldn't have slept his grandmammy. Ricky even throws it in his face when he says his grandmammy got him the chain. Doesn't he know Ricky's the owner, oh I think there's going to be a lot of Ricky torturing him as the owner.
Worked for a company that promised a $2,500 bonus check after the first year of employment and every year after. Worked for them over 3 years and all the technicians got $54 😂
I’d quit and move on the first year, if they didnt correct it, if I was in a position to do so, easier said than done I know, but I’d be trying to make plans not long after, and try to be out ASAP. Maybe try to lower work quality. I hate being lied to, I hate being taken advantage of.
@@XFizzlepop-Berrytwist I’ve been running my own to companies for the past 5 years making 5x the amount I used to lol the company ended up filing bankruptcy and closing its 7 locations because of bad business decisions. thank you though lol
