I purchased Wollerton Old Hall and planted it as a bare root earlier this year. It is now beginning to bloom after just a few months. It is gorgeous! You’ll love it.

Thank you for this episode! I have been looking at Teasing Georgia for a while. She will be my first rose. And we live near Atlanta so she should do well. However, how do I keep the black spot away? Ambrose thank you for your service. It just warms my heart to see a warrior talk so passionately about beautiful things in our world. I’m sitting here with my Vietnam war veteran dad and showed him your video. He said, with a big smile on his face, “That’s nice...very nice.”

love your roses, yesterday I planted my 2 first David Austin roses, one of the is Windemere and the other is a climmer tess of the d'urbervilles. So happy for you! The roses will need plenty of water as they have just been planted. The first year they will give a few flowers first three years they are getting their roots established. As the roses get older they will be stronger and more prolific that’s around after the third year. In spring feed them we use rose tone from Espomaorganics. You have a longer growing season so feed them again around thebeginning of summer. Dead head after flowering to promote more blooms. We got videos on pruning them if you need advice. We will be showing more future videos on roses as we move soon to Texas and start our new garden. 🙏💐💚

Hello! We used to get spider mites in our past garden it was because our small area didn’t have enough air circulation. We also now spray with IV Organics spray helps not only to keep bad insects away but from sun burn and many other things that can damage plants. 💚

Love your video! I have a question, I planted the bare root of PRINCESS ALEXANDRA OF KENT about a month ago. I noticed today the new young canes wilted at noon time, and they perked back in the evening. Is it normal for DA roses? Thanks 🙏

As temperatures get warmer the roses will need more water. Make sure that soil around roses never dries out. Wilted canes at hottest time of day means the rose needs more water. It’s warmed up in our area so we water them every day early morning. 💐💚

I have this problem with my newly planted Teasing Georgia so thanks for asking the question. She has been in the ground 3 weeks and we have had quite a bit of rain during that time, so apart from watering in well I have not watered her much. I gave her half a bucket yesterday when I noticed the flopping in the hot sun but she still flopped today. I don’t want to overwater as the place she is planted is a sheltered area with good quality quite moist soil, but I will try again today.

Wonderful video. You and your hubby are great together. I have a Teasing Georgia in 3rd year in UK. She gets about 8 hours sun per day on an East facing fence beside an area of decking. This is a very warm spot in the summer. At present (late May) she has a mass of blooms waiting to open up. The weather has been cold here this spring. My question is, how will she cope in a shadier position? She has done so well for me so far that I want to buy another and container plant it to light up a shady area of the garden that only gets around 4 hours of direct sunlight a day. No overhanging trees though, just buildings and a tall fence that block off the sun. The fence I want to grow her on is also East facing but with less sun. She has to be container planted because of the roots of a small (not overhanging) tree coming from my neighbours garden. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.
