I was lucky enough to see em live and i must say they were SUPERB. The great thing was the power went out and they didnt even stop for a sec, they kept playng unplugged in the ampitheatre we were in. Warnign, dont watch their fingers too long you ll get dizzy ;)
Check out this version, "For Sephora - Aljaž Gyurica in Luka Osmani (cover)" - two classical guitarists from Slovenia playing this song very emotionally, paying homage to great gypsy guitar virtuosos, two days before the end of the world. They play fingerstyle, simply insanely great.
@Cthulhussama the gypsy jazz comes from the right hand technique :) look how it just floats there, playing rest strokes on every new string. up or down and it doesnt slow him down !

@@bradejensenI got the speed - check out The Forgotten Chord on my feed. Problem is, I am used to a feather touch on an electric - when I try to go that fast on the Esstman DM1, the strings knock the pick out of my hand!

@valkour22 I noticed that too! What an amazing player. Check out "Black Eyes" by the Rosenberg Trio. It is an amazing performance of a standard classic.

why not? i found out 2 weeks ago my left was stronger then the right. luckily other wise my task would have failed being pulling a string to dim the lights

Comparing guitarists that play to this standard seems somehow pointless, they are all very good at what they do, so it comes down to which one touches your heart, feels it the same way you do...there are many great vocalists but only a few that one loves... I have two favourite trio's...Rush and The Rosenburg Trio...I'd love to hear a version of "Sephora" by Rush...and a version of La Villa Strangiato" by the Rosenburg Trio, though I think they might both find it a bit of a stretch... :- )
just watch his hands and also listen ... you do this enough time you'll never need tabs plus your improves will improve drastically since you wont see the guitar in a bunch of boxes and licks just my 2 cents

Seen and more importantly HEARD them with Grappelli at the NSJF in 1992..playing at the Philips Hall in the old The Hague venue as one of the main attractions already......so coming out?
