I've never tried Rothy's! But I have to tell you, you completely SOLD me! I think I have to give them a try - and the loafer sounds perfect for my lifestyle.
You mentioned that you needed to wash the insoles, is this because they were stinky at the time of filming? If so, given the different insole did you notice a difference in length before they started to smell compared to the typical rothys insole?
Molly that is a great question. They were just dirty at the time of filming. I did not notice a difference at all in a time frame of when they started to smell in relation to which insole. They all got dirty or smelt about equal. I also wear them all the time as well. I suppose if you wear one shoe more than the others that show will probably get smellier and dirtier faster.
Ok Tieks vs Rothys.... pros and cons to both imho. Tieks for me, are just more comfortable. I own .4 pairs of Rothys and while I love them all, the loafers are the bomb out of All!!!! I’ve had some issues with the pointed toe ones. Street size 10 so in my 1st order I stayed TTS. Perfect! However, I had to remove the Rothys insole and replace with a way thinnner one .... totally comfy. For my 2nd pair of points, I thought , well, EVERY one says go half size up. So I did. DEFINITELY roomier for my toes and so far, not falling off my heel. I’m soo frustrated bc in Rothys, I feel like I’m caught between 2 sizes:-(( Tieks on the other hand size 10s are 💯!! I still plan on more Rothys though!!!! There’s always room for both in my ❤️
Erin this is so true. With most of the Rothys we have found that a 1/2 size up is just perfect but it really depends on the show you are getting. The sneakers we couldn't get to fit at all. They started falling apart and are not washable. As a wedding photographer who can find myself in weird situations this makes me like Rothys just a little bit more.
