I bought the Magic Gem 3 hours, I love it so far!

Yesss I've been looking at the TNT Infused waiting for a video from you.

loved the explanations what knowledge of options can do for your bowling success and how important it is to learn about the ball you use and its reactions and your own strengths and limitations as a bowler.

Awesome, as always. Good info that gives me much to think about. I roll with the TNT, and my older brother will be getting the TNT Infused so we both will be throwing bombs down the lanes at our league nights!

Very helpful. That lane is like my last week in league. Everything I do is for the Bowlero oil spill. Then sometimes its dry and I have nothing for it. The Infused is a possible buy for me.

love all the technical information, was wondering could you do a video explaining how to play the wet dry cliff when transition starts to happen, what balls to go to, how to play the wet vs how to play the dry. in league the first game is usually the best game but by the third game things definitely change especially if there are guys with a lot of revs and I kind of struggle to adjust to that changing environment. I have been basically staying with the same ball that I started league with and moving left plus start slow rolling it to get it to come back to the pocket but what happens is carry go's way down, lots of corner pins.

Darren, i have to say that I really do enjoy your video's. And you're spot on with the review of these balls. However, I would like to see you redo this review with a normal house shot so we (if not only me) see how the new Magic Gem and TNT Infused really reacts for the normal house bowler? Thank you.

I've got my Magic Gems, one polished other box finish (2000 grit) with 2 different layouts, TNT Infuseds same thing but take polish off with a 1000 pad, arriving tomorrow hopefully.

When talk about your tilt access, are you referring to the position of your hand on the release versus the pin of the ball?

Good info. Question, is it better to be really versatile, able to do a bunch of things, but not be enjoyed elite at any of them, or be really really good at one thing??

Stronger balls like tilt adjustments on higher friction shots. Just twirl it more, spin to win

Hey Darren, I have had the same Roto Grip Mutant Cell for the last eight years. It’s starting to crack in the finger hole and I lost my grip to the back of the machine 😂. What would recommend I look at as a new ball. I average a 195 right now and have only had that one ball. Thanks!

Seems like Magic gem doesn't retain as much energy as pi despite similar hook strength, gem seems to be soft while pi hits like a truck, true?

Darren, since you mentioned that this new TNT is not the same as the original. Just as the Gold Label isnt the same as the original Zen, could you do a comparison between the new TNT & Zen Gold Label? Thanks.

I have a challenge for you, you have to bowl normal with houseballs any weight and leave the whole backrow aka (7-8-9-10 split)

😅It's funny that everyone hypes this ball up. I baught one. Ever since I got it drilled it has not been a good performer for me. I tried to give it a second chance tonight and bowled 6 games with it. I shoot a good 20 or 30 pins less than I do with my DV8 Brutal Collision. It's so hard for me to strike with the magic compared to the DV8 it's crazy. Im sure it works great for some people but for me it's a total flop. 😢 The pro shop guy drilled it the pin up and right. Maybe its the way its drilled....

Im 14, And im a freshman on my high school bowling team. I want to go pro at some point and join the PBA tour. I have been taking bowling seriously for about 6 months now and have really gotten into the sport. I've joined league near where I live and want to keep growing throughout high school. My high game is 212 with the black widow 2.0 hybrid. My high average is about 160. Ever since I fell in love with the sport I've always had a dream to join the PBA tour when I get older. Once I get enough experience this year i'm going to join Junior gold with my friend so I can get into some more sport patterns whether their short or long patterns. I have the Black widow 2.0 hybrid, The roto grip DUO and a t-zone. When I get close to the start of the Junior gold season I would like to get the pitch black for sport patterns. I would also like to visit the Kegel training academy at some point soon so I can get the best training and feedback. Ill also consider joining your course Darren!

Excellent video and some very good information. Question: how do you think this TNT Infused will fit in during league night for someone who's a high-speed low rev. bowler? Take note I'm throwing the TNT right now and am looking for a ball that will compliment that once the lanes start transitioning and or have broken down. Right now, all I have is my TNT, my other two balls are from 1992 I have both the Emerald Piranha and the solid Blue Piranha, and those two balls don't work very well on these newer designed synthetic lanes, they're made for the first synthetic lanes when they came out and everyone transitioned from wood lanes (I think you may or may not remember those lanes they looked like they'd been whitewashed or something). Fortunately, I don't have to retire those two balls because it just so happens that on the Airforce base, I bowl league at here in AR are the old synthetic lanes and both those ball work extremely well on those lanes after all these years. Yes, I've tried using my TNT there and it will work but barely and it is a struggle. My TNT works very well at the lanes off base that I bowl league at and neither of those Piranhas work at all on those lanes.
