Thanks for the in depth analysis. Really interested in an analysis of how DJI works with other systems in a race with 6-8 pilots. Would like some Shark Byte analysis too. Keep it up! This info is helpful for me organizing races

The split in time is the separation in timers and lined up with gate immersion is on the gate and delta 5 is the 1 foot 0.008 difference but it’s actually spot on

Really, really interesting testing, dude! 😃 The results are pretty convincing! But... I don't know, but I wouldn't bet on DJI for races, but on Shark Byte. Because with Shark Byte you can have as many receivers as you want, put it on screens and so on... With DJI on the other hand you need that freaking expensive controller. 😕 So... We'll see, I guess. 😬 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Thanks for doing the work! This is really interesting to me and i love that you have analysed the data. It looks like there is a solution to timing dji... i will have to dust off my old delta5 and get rotorhazard running on it. What I really want to see is 6 dji pilots up together racing and getting timed accurately (with either system) and then swap out a dji pilot for an analogue pilot and go again and then be at a point where you can have any number of dji and analogue pilots in the air at once (might even chuck in some sharkbyte in there for good measure) this is going to be our next round of testing in the uk race scene... if we can ever get out of lockdown.

DJI solution. I've tried DJI and I have to say it works very badly. so i just soldered the cheapest mini analog VTX onto the copter. this only has a few grams which does not matter. and see there, it works great. :-)
