At the end the Belgian guy says (in flemish) that Rotten still cares about the poor, or maybe he fakes it for old times sake. (something like that) I think that Rotten will never fake stuff like this, he speaks his mind and cares about the working class, the underdog. He knows all about that himself growing up in big councilflats with only one toilet for the whole building, etc. The working class were treated like shit, and they still are. He's a bit of a tough guy, but I believe he'll NEVER fake stuff because of power, money, and all that rubbish.. He won't sell out. John's GENUINE and honest and I love him for that! Thank you so much for uploading this. I love to see lydon doing this kind of stuff, he's a natural. Also as a Brit who's lived abroad since 2001, I love anything to do with programs about touring around Britain. It makes me so proud and happy and nostalgic in a way that I can't really explain. Are you joking? Did we watch the same program? John Lydon exudes warmth, curiosity, joy, humor, enthusiasm and a true appreciation for his fellowmen and women. He's humble, fun, down-to-earth, respectful, and brings a positive attitude everywhere he goes. He was so kind and genuine to single person they met on their adventures. All of the workers, historians, and guides were given an earnest ear and a smile. Lydon's love of England and Englishness is potent. I was sat here with a huge smile on my face the entire show. I'm so sorry you were not able to tune into John's frequency, because I found his zest for life and gratitude for all the little things infectious and life-affirming, and I feel certain that I will be revisiting this program anytime I need a mood boost.
