Hi Johnny Just thought you'd like to know that trains give off water-steam and cigarettes give off carcinogens As you're the smoker that you are, I understand you're having a whinge, but there's a big difference
Its still black and very dirty, house wives used to rush out to their garden when they heard the engine coming so they could quickly un peg the washing from the line. I do love steam though. My dad started work on the railway when he was 16 in 1963. His first part of the job was in the signal box. He later became an engineer and did that until things changed too much for him so he left in 1996. As ive got older i learnt more to appreciate english history and steam was a such a huge part of that!
@@toddblanks Thanks for those tidbits of information. Steam being a major part of English history is something that people don't know (because they're just plain lazy), but is fascinating and 'important' to know
@@sexobscura They're just not interested in the past sadly. Most want to think about now and not yesterday. No interest in how life was before they came about which is a very shallow mindset and pretty boring. Ive always loved nothing but the music that was around long before i was in this world. It was this that opened my mind. I couldn't relate to the music of my youth much, but other peoples registered with me on a completely different level.
@@toddblanks That's a nice thing to hold to your heart. Remember that we're all only human and our experiences are what makes our existence the superb wonder of the universe.
