This cab looks much worse in person than the pictures let on. It really highlights half the reason I am no longer selling candy cabinets off my containers. Cabs like this can be cleaned up and work great with some work, but definitely aren’t worth the sale price when I list them. I’m sorry, but seriously please stop asking to get candies for you, if I’m selling them, etc. I will give a week or two notice if any are listed, then list them on the forums. I will not hold them for you, I will not let you know when they become available, I get too large a volume of requests to handle. It’s the only fair way I can do it.
Some more interesting points of this cabinet, it has a JAMMA harness inside, as well as the normal JVS. Inside the control panel, there’s two sets of CP connectors, so it appears that if you switch between the two, you just change what connector it’s plugged into inside. I’m not sure what else would need to be done. The monitor looks pretty good, so no complaints there.
Really, this just needs the paint stripped back off. It looks awful, and really the yellowed surface would probably look better. If I end up doing work on his cab, I’ll probably post a follow-up.
