Had the opportunity to install a lift kit on this gorgeous new Underground Grey Toyota 4Runner. Paired with the Icon wheels and 285 tires this makes for one sweet ride!
Unfortunately, that puck lift will end up destroying the upper ball joints relatively quickly probably within 20 to 30,000 miles depending on your road conditions in your area. it’s best not to ever do a lift unless you do the full suspension kit. For example, to Bill Steen, 5100.
Don't understand why people do this to their new trucks. You spend so much money on this truck but could add another 500-600 for doing a proper suspension lift with Bilstein 5100 that are proved. Spacers add extra stress in the entire stock suspension system. Don't you think there is a reason it doesn't come out of factory with spacers?
