Rough Cut Double Stairway Build in Hannah’s house using Yellow Pine Lumber I cut on the Sawmill! Hannah got a set of Stairs for Christmas! Rustic staircase build!
The look on Hannah’s face shows a loss for words! You’re one helluva dad sir! Master craftsman! All the light switches are where Hannah can reach them! She’ll be plenty happy to make that home soon. Outstanding work! Preciateshall! And a Happy New Year!
Just wanted to say that you are a true craftsman and will be thought of often when anyone comes over to visit your daughter. A showcase of your talent and love for Hannah.
I can hear the love in your voice when you talk about your daughter, you our a bless man. And so is she to have you for a father. House looking great. Love the stairs.
I really love it that you go all out for Hannah and I think you are such a wonderful dad and hell of a person for all that you do. Love watching your videos. I appreciate yall😊
Gorgeous, I love the double open staircases. I am converting an old barn with 1" rough cut 12" wide lapped sides into a house in upstate South Carolina. I ran into bedrock digging out the horse stalls for the crawl space so I sawed the faces off the rock for facing my foundations. I bought surplus windows from a cancelled government building, piping the floor for radiant floors, and been digging a small pond down in the creek.
Beautiful work Jeff! You can use red cider vinegar and 000 steel wool and let it sit for a while and brush it on the freshly sawn wood until you get the color to match the old barn wood...I do it all the time and it really works GREAT!!!
It’s great to see the progress on Hannah’s house…looks outstanding! I’m sure your freezers are full and completion of the house will gain speed moving forward. I can understand Hannah’s excitement and find it amazing as to the local materials being used and repurposed. Mr. Barron your skills, vision and creativity are on another level, thank you and Hannah for taking us alone and the best of wishes for 2024 and beyond. Appreciate ya’ll!
The stairs look awesome Jeff! You did an amazing job on them. When the home is finished it is going to be awesome! Can’t wait to see it done and all decorated
Jeff, Yall doin an awsome and very beautiful job on this build, Keep those rails ruff cut and Urethane the splinter areas, don't make them look smooth as it will take away from the country old style look.
I like the new house this will be way better than the tiny house. I like watching one dad build stuff anyways. Have fun. Its a lot of work. Paul in Ohio
Jeff Baron, I have to say, you are the man, what a beautiful job. Hannah has to be so proud of her Daddy, can’t wait to see to the finished house….Just a great job!!!
Your not a Carpenter , your an Artist . The way your mixing the old school with new material is on another level . You should be on TV . Jeff Barron Builds . Great job .
In these days of plastic, plywood , and fake wood it`s great to see solid wood 2 1/2in. stair treads, 4x4 rails and runners! Reminds me of a garage in SanFrancisco with 2x10 redwood. It was normal in the 1920`s. Beautiful rough redwood is a rare sight.
