We've brought back the Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute kit for another demo! This time, we've put Yamaha Vintage wood hoops on the toms and snare, Evans Calftones on the batters. Performed by Gabriel Landa.

This kit is from the 1st generation of Maple Custom Absolutes, made by Sakae in Japan. The toms are 6-ply and the bass drum is 7-ply.
This configuration is:

14 x 14 Floor Tom
14 x 6.5 Snare Drum

We used two AKG C214 microphones as overheads, a Shure SM57 on the snare, a Shure SM57 on the hi-hats, and an AKG d112 on the bass drum.
