I’m loving these Roundlab reviews!! I’ve always been curious about their brand so I’m glad that I have your videos to refer to. Thank you for the amazing content as always :)
For real though! Lovely calm editing, informative about the background a bit (Dokdo island) and then proceeds to review the series of the skincare nicely and in short. I just hope this channel get's caught by algorithm one day!
hello from Ukraine🤗, I found your videos because Round Lab also suited my skin perfectly, after a long time of searching. although I tried more expensive brands. You make a very cool and interesting video😍. thank you🙏, happy to have found you today Wish you more followers ☺️
Thank you for sharing your experience I really liked to know about round lab I'm using it recently and I'm delighted with its properties greetings from Spain
Right?! If and when I try their Pine line later and find that line to be great as well, it’s game over for all brands because how are they so consistent with quality?! And they’re still considered a young brand.
You’d need to try the lotion and sunscreen from this line - particularly the sunscreen. As an oily gal I prefer it than the Birch sunscreen. ☺️ I’m going to try the cleansing oil next.
I ❤️❤️❤️❤️ the lotion so much. I’ve gone through like 4 bottles, including 1 big boi 400ml bottle. I’m the kind of person that sticks with a product that really works for me, at least until it’s discontinued or reformulated lol. What do you like about the Dokdo sunscreen? I have skin that’s slightly on the oily side of normal and the birch juice one is just way too shiny for me. Is the Dokdo one more matte?
@@edienandy the formula of Dokdo sunscreen is lighter than the birch juice one. It is not matte - nor giving you that oil slick look (I'm oily and I personally can't stand the look of "glass skin" lol).
Oh, I haven’t heard about it being an exfoliating toner. As far as I know, it’s mainly a hydrating toner. If it is exfoliating, I would presume it’s on the gentler side and won’t combat active ingredients. I’ve been using this toner along with my vitamin C in the morning and my retinol at night. Thank you for your question. I’ll try to look more into this!
Heyyyy Ray fellow skincare enthusiast and k-beauty fan here from Greece!!! I am absolutely loning your content (and your aesthetics... the editting + music choices, the colors, the lightimg, everything) and learning so much from your reviews! I'd really appreciate it of you could help me out with something... greek social media are heavily pushing out certain korean brands as very popular in Korea, but I've never ever heard anyone outside Greece talk about them. Could you please confirm if that is actually the case? I am talking about brands such as Dr Hedison, Daylisse, Maxclinic, Lisse, GLURE, Hahn’s Peptide, Cellucy... are they really loved by Koreans, am I missing out on them? By the way, I recently posted a video on Round Lab myself, since no one is talking about thm here... I tried four products and instatly fell in love 💘 Kisses fron Greece😽
Hi! Thanks for your question! I personally have not heard of the brands that you mentioned. BUT, like you said, each country pushes a certain brand(s), claiming they’re popular. We’d never actually know until we go to Korea, sadly. In the US, CosRx, Round Lab, and BOJ have been heavily pushed. But CosRx and BOJ are actually not the most well known in Korea. Hope this offers some context. But now I’m interested in looking into the brands you mentioned.
@@rayliur thank uou so much for your answer, it is really helpful! these brands are supposedly used especially in clinics and proffesionla offices according to the claims made here... but I do have mu doubts! 😘😘😘
@@rayliur sorry for interruption 😅... In India I have never heard those brands which the person mentioned..yes BOJ, COSRX,Isntree, Innisfree, The face shop,One thing some of these i have already known and some I forgotten..but first time I'm reading those name which Greece or Greek people using..Very interesting to know this..try to understand my English bcz idk other languages 😅
Just got here randomly loved ur review video of round lab . M a new subscriber. Keep going just wanted to know i have acne prone oily sensitive skin can i use this toner
new to korean skincare here, glad I found your channel! can someone tell me if the dodko toner is suitable for oily, acne prone skin? I’m planning to buy it and pairing it with the numbuzin n4 serum or the boj propolis one….
Hi! Welcome!! Hopefully we have subscribers who can also chime in! For me, this toner works great on my oily skin but I don’t think it does anything to remedy acne. For one, it does not break me out so that’s good!
@@rayliur I’m looking for a toner which hydrates the skin before going in with harsher ingredients like bha aha so even if it won’t do anything for breakouts I hope it will help regenerating skin cells and healing the blemishes faster
I'm about to buy the round lab dokdo cleansing oil and I'm kinda scared as i have oily acne prone skin so is ok for me to use it? Will it clog pore or break me out 😅 as this is the first time using a cleansing oil
Anyooo or whoever I can spell it😅 SEE as an bts army I know few words in Korean 😅 I've recently switched from my previous kbeauty cream to Dokdo cream , just started trying it, im a bigger girl with dry skin , no I mean older im thin 😂😂 I m Greek and I have a 18year old son who's obsessed with Asian everything ( if you think anime and Manga bingo🎉 And he also learned Japanese reading writing ) (omg I thought Greek were complicated tor others , now we are learning Korean yeayyy off topic oopsiee ) KASHAMITA andc SARANGHAE from Greece 🇬🇷 ❤🎉🎉
Hiii. Im 16 and new to korean skincare. I want to try double cleansing with gentle cleansers and i dont know if it is safe and can help transform my skin. It would really help if u recommend cleansers of this brand (which is one of the limited brands available in my country) thank you ❤ And is the low ph cleanser worth the hype?
Hi 👋🏼 double cleanser isn’t really a science. It’s just an added layer to make sure you remove all your makeup and sunscreen. So an oil cleanser first and then a water-based cleanser after to remove any residue. This oil cleanser is great. And as you can see in this video, I have not tried the low pH cleanser (yet). I recommend gel cleansers over foam because they’re gentler.
I have the Dokdo Ampoule but it’s not a gel texture it’s like a watery toner-ish texture. Unsure why this is happening? But using it feels like a toner or a watery ampoule.
@@rayliur Hi! I’m from Malaysia, I got it from my local pharmacy chain called Guardian that carries the entire RoundLab Dokdo Line, I have bought 2 actually and they’re both very watery. It’s not a watery gel texture it’s straight up water. I did more research but rarely I saw anyone use the ampoule.
@@milkecstasy that is a bit strange, but it's more goopy than watery from my experience. Perhaps it could be the way the pharmacy had stored the products? Have you checked the expiration date, too? Sometimes, when preservatives expire, the product no longer maintains its viscosity.
Hey hi I'm new to skin care I'm going to order this can you tell me the routine how to use what have to use at first place like 1. Dokdo toner and 2. Dokdo lotion or 1. Dokdo lotion and 2. Dokdo toner can you please tell me about this and u didn't mention dokdo lotion in this 😢 pls help me with this skin routine
Hi, my reviews are all shared in the order of how I would use them in a routine. I did not review the lotion, because it wasn't part of the package at StyleKorean at the time. In your case, you would use the lotion after the toner, since toners are thinner/lighter in texture/consistency. You should want to build up your products from thinnest to thickest, so that they can layer more effectively on your skin. Hope this helps.
Hi 👋 im not sure what shove water means. But yes, it does offer a lot of hydration, and you can later this toner for more hydration if you want since it's so gentle.
@rayliur what i meant was does it push hydration super deep into your skin despite being water consistency? Isntree Yam is the only toner I've used so far that does that.
Yes--I have oily skin. The cleanser is great for pushing out excessive sebum. The toner and serum are so hydrating and keep my skin from overproducing oils.
@@rayliur i think this ampule is doesn't use my many peoples and can this results be seen of using this ampule... And please recommend a serum for me as my skin is a combination skin and i want my skin to glow...
I'm not sure I am understanding your question. You should know better than to call it “Sea of Japan” lol. That’s as controversial as the whole Dokdo issue. Call it “Yellow Sea” if you don’t wanna piss off koreans
Hi Robert, I recognize it was my mistake. I spent the time learning about the history of Dokdo but failed to realize that the name of the sea has also been debated. I went with the more popular name out of convenience without realizing that it’s offensive to the group that was oppressed throughout this specific part of history. I apologize for offending you. Through this I’ve learned a valuable lesson. Thanks for your comment.
