We loved it at Roundhill. It exceeded all our expectations. It’s a beautiful part of the world and the campsite is very special. The hammock and a brew seemed very civilised. Nice one Chas, he mastered the art of the hammock in the end 🤣 Yummy food 😃👍🏻 Trev
The forest sites are currently run by camping and caravanning club but I believe this is stopping in December I tried booking Bracelanda for next year and can’t so not sure who are taking them over
We came across your channel through Ads and Zoe. We met Chaz at Hermanfest and he seems a really lovely man. We thought Roundhill was lovely and only footage from others RU-vidrs showed us how close the horses came to our van. We are hoping to go to the meet up again next year. Take care Gill
Hi guys. I noticed that you and Nicky wern´t wearing saftey helmets while riding your bikes...a good job that you didn´t come a cropper...otherwise it could have been very painful
The New Forest is great. The site we stayed on you do need your own self contained unit however there are places in the forest that do glamping where you can stay in a safari tent or yurt that is already set up for you. Some even have hot tubs etc. Of course it's going to be more expensive than having your own tent.
@@ttxela Thanks for the info☺️. I thought it might be that you have to have your own unit. I will have to search if there is glamping at an affordable price. I do like to get the full camping experience though and setting up my own tent would be fun to learn and cheaper as well. This might sound like a odd question but what kind of nature noises were there in the New forest, during the night?. I have been abroad and heard insects, birds etc in forests and I love the sound of it. I know this would be quite hard to hard in a UK camping site or national forest but the sound of crickets, frogs, wildlife, and camping around a fire, is something that I always wanted to do. I think that's the favourite part me, along with being somewhere there is fresh water.
