My understanding is Roush began incorporating the larger heat exchanger in mid 2019. That being said, how would one know if the Roush technician incorporated the “new” tune or put in the old tune.?? Mine was built in September of 2019. I would think there would be recorded notes on this, as September 2019 is the beginning of the new 2020s And, 2019 Mustangs built past mid year were getting the improved heat exchanger. I wonder if I could get an answer.?..

@@nyplantingsgardendesigners5645 I spoke with Roush Performance via email They said that Roush began incorporating the larger heat exchanger in mid-year of 2019 and kept the 710hp tune. The 750hp tune started with the 2020 model year. So, it’s my understanding that all mid-year plus 2019s are capable of 750hp with just the tune & pre-mid-year 2019s would need to have the larger heat exchanger purchased & installed, which Roush has made available. In order to keep your warranty, it would have to be installed by a Roush Dealer or Roush certified installer. The warranty does not renew. It remains from the original date. One’s VIN# is on file and can be looked up to determine what your vehicle had in it on the date it departed from Roush.

Great looking car. I personally went with a RTR spec 2, and a Whipple stage 2 supercharger for my 2019 PP1 GT. Currently rocking 730 WHP. These packages are nice but sometimes it's fun to do the work under the hood yourself! For a daily I highly recommend magnaride suspension and active exaust(especially if you go with long tube headers). Loving my current setup. Would love to come across a roush stage 3 or even a new Gt500 on the road.

730hp to the wheels at a very high rpm. One would have to look at the horsepower and Torque Curve thru the entire rpm range of the various superchargers to get a better understanding of true power. The race is over before one gets to the horsepower rpm. To many variables with car, engine, & driver to know. Cudos👍👍for 'your own' work Great learning experience 👍

@@j.vosier6786 the stage 2 kit was 8500, with labor(I didn't install myself) it came to right around 10k. I do know currently there's a 8 month wait time for the kits from whipple but there are tons of different choices.

Please nobody waste your money on a roush blower. Do yourself a favor and buy a blower that actually makes power (paxton, whipple, procharger, etc)

@@chriswickster Go to Brenspeed here on RU-vid Search for Mustang 2018-2020 phase 2 Roush He compares the Stage2 to the Phase2 There is absolutely nothing wrong with the 2650 redesign TVS supercharger that Roush uses. One must look at the entire spec Dyno results Because, horsepower does Not mean “jack” when you compare the entire rpm range. Look at torque at any given rpm. Remember: max horsepower is a high rpm number that equivocates to nothing more than bragging rights.

The factory superchargers have tons of rotating mass, kills top end power. Prochargers are the way to go for sure

@@john-martin that’s true. But, new designs in superchargers, ie the 2650, are becoming more efficient throughout the engine’s rpm range. The coyote engine is an over square engine & makes its power on top end. The coyote could use more low end torque. Thus, Eaton style superchargers fill that need cost effectively. But, that being said, turbochargers & centrifugal superchargers ‘are superior’ on top end.
