That's a very clean build, rocking the same body shell and some green plastics on my buggy too. I'll have to pick up a skid plate next, only running a stock 36CC but might as well make everything bullet proof.
I have zero steering slop brother and I have to pinch my battery box to get the clip in they hold fine for me. Ive always used them never had them fly out. I have seen people screw them down too. As well as the gas tank.
