You definitely been busy son. Can’t wait for you to Braap the Wasp again. It’s looks so good. Man I didn’t realize you were taking PJ’s car completely apart. Whew a lot of work. Ok time for you to get some rest.☺️
Awesome video brother Jeff 👍wow sorry to hear the 71cc is not up too part I was hoping it would of became one of the TMR specials but anyway I wanted to thank you brother Jeff for being so supportive and wish you and you're family much love bro 🙏
Yesssss Im trying to finish PJs car so I can enjoy my stuff! Its taking all my free time! I dont recommend these RCs if you cant work on them otherwise they will cost you a fortune for someone else to work on them! Im making a vid later wait till you see all my custom work brother! I busted straight arse getting this together
I had heard not good things about the 71 and now you confirmed it. 😞 It sounds like they didn't take the suggestions. Maybe they will make a version 2 with the corrections needed. 🤷🏻♂️
Question brotha. I’m looking at buying the TMR 30.5 long rod and wanted your thoughts on if the stock Rovan trans in the Baja buggies can handle it and what gear ratio you would recommend for bashing?
The stocker trans can handle it. And start off with a gear set that will keep it revving so you can get the ring seated quickly! Then start working your way up until you reach the gear set thats best for you! That engine pulls 24/50 gears comfortably in a 5B Baja in the grass!
Dang, so the Rovan 71 is crap. I'm looking for a nice solid engine but for what the 45 Bartolone Reed case engine is going for at Rovan, I'd rather get a proven OBR instead. Decisions......
How about your get a proven TMR Engine! The Red Head 45 is animal it pulls gears ⚙️ period! Tmrperformance@yahoo.com if your interested! Its affordable reliable power! The best bang for your buck in my opinion.
I have a Redcat racing Rampage MT v3 with a 32cc want more power is the 71 worth the 6 R 7 hundred bucks they want??? I bash once a month n don't wanna spend a crap load of money on a engine. Thanks
Just bought a Rovan D5 from your videos, my d5 came with the dual ring 36cc. Are all overheating or is it from running too lean on gas mixture. What's your thoughts brother? Steve
Hey Steve supposedly the dual rings are okay now but if it were me Id change the piston to a single ring , it will perform a lot better. Congratulations on your new buggy! I really like mine. I cant wait to run it here soon!
@EastSide RC I am in Minnesota so I feel your pain of not being able to run. It's coming though I see 60's in the weekend forecast. I'm going to try to run this dual piston, but if it's a mule she will be replaced.
You sure can bro. That would be your best bet because the extra ring causes extra heat and wear to the cylinder . It works fine in chainsaws and weed eaters but not our Rc applications because of the high rpms we produce. I wish Rovan never went to dual ring 45’s or dual ring 36’s.
@@frosty7154 well it depends on compression ratios mostly but if you wanna cover all the basis VP C12 is some of the best all around fuel you can use! C10 is great to! VP is premium race fuel you cannot go wrong with it. Cooler engine temps and power will be made with VP!!
My Baja is coming on now just want the Taylor rc diff housing and a kill switch only got a 29cc engine in it atm I got it in a trade I got really good deal was a shorty when I got it
