Tom thats great my brother Im glad you got one man! Dont for get to loctite it all up because mine did not have a sprig of loctite even though some screws were pretty tight.

I know brother I wish I had more time to run my RC’s really I do need to run that sucker I’ve gotten caught up testing engines for Allen. At the moment that’s kind of high priority. It will be ran though it’s not a shelf queen I promise.
Love your videos Jeff! What do you use for 2 stroke oil? Also what ratio do you use in your Rovans? I recently got my first rovan Baja with a 29cc and the manual says 50:1 but everyone else says 25:1 so it’s a little confusing for a noob lol
Hey brother I use 50:1 because thats rich in fuel and more fuel is more lubrication and fuel cools the engine not the oil. Also 50:1 makes more power. 25:1 is for old school crap oils. I only use Amsoil saber in every two stroke I own at 50:1 because its good for 100:1 so 50:1 is a complete overkill with this oil. I have zero issues with my engines they run cool and wear beautifully. There is a huge misconception with two strokes that you need more oil that is completely wrong. Brap on brother and thanks for watching. The oil debate causes a serious amount of dram in this hobby its sickening. If we all did the same thing it would be boring. Also 50:1 gives you a broader spectrum for tuning as well! And run a good quality racing fuel with 100 octane at least and absolutely no ethanol brother. Ethanol will wreck your carburetors!

2 beautiful beasties I think the outlaw v3 hybrids center chassis brace will work with that rovan hybrid but you can only get it from Taylor rc Detroit performance dosen't carry it

Absolutely yes it will Id throw a 40 in it maybe even a 50. Guys beat the 30Nth up with 12s electric and my brother Thunder RC runs a 46gt right through the whole 4x4 stock drive train without any issues! So get one and gripp and rip brother and thanks for the kind words!

As a general 2 stroke guy 25:1 seems excessive to me. I have built snowmobile engines, built chainsaws, banshees etc and run 32:1 or 40:1 with klotz techniplate in all of them. Anyone one running 40:1 in theses trucks? I feel like 25:1 is a Band aid for poor tunes and 40:1 would give better performance, less chance of detonation and less fouled plugs. Whatcha think? I have a hybrid on the way.
25:1 is lean on fuel rich on oil it dont use it. I have chainsaws n lots of gas RCs and 2 stroke power equipment I run 50:1 in every two stroke I own with Amsoil Saber professional and Ive never had one single issue! All my stiff runs great! I use 94 octane in my chainsaws n lawn equipment and 112 octane in my rc cars! All engines are happy

I always have 100 octane 40:1 mixed up for my dirt bikes and modded chainsaws so I’ll just be using that. Thanks again!
Thanks brother I ordered my hybrid yesterday I wanted the 30 degree north the one you bought but I already have an Kingmotors X2 that I absolutely love and a Rovan SLT V5 which is basically a losi 5b. Also I have the original HPI Baja. The Baja was my first 5th scale and it’s a blast but to be honest it’s a nightmare to work on so it’s been collecting dust since I went to the losi style platform. After watching ur videos getting the hybrid made since. Something different also it’s going to be a breeze wrenching on it!!! I will make a video when I get it. Check out my channel bro thanks🤝

Thanks Woods and there is not a huge price difference no. Very minimal . Both are tough rigs it boils down to what you would prefer two wheel drive or four wheel! I just had to have both! Hope you have a blessed week

Ok brother and out of all my machines I would have to say I like my Twin show piece the best. I just really like that one and how it turned out with the chrome . So far I've collected the DDM HYBRID 5T all blinged out w/no engine yet and still deciding on what to slap in it, I have the kraken Vector.5 color B.R.Blu w/Taylor rc 35cc with a chrome Dominator pip and a Victory pipe on standby and a Redcat Rampage blinged out w/ 28.5 and Olimat exhaust. It would have to be built heavily but yeah the massive 88 pipe wont fit it. And the 4 wheel drive would have to go . And I already got a hybrid. I dont know what Im gonna put in there. Maybe a taylor 35 I have no idea yet! I was just spouting off with excitement
Are you talking about the transmission plastic case? Because I’m just gonna take the guts out of the plastic transmission and just put it right into a billet transmission for now..
