Rovan XLT 45CC Break In and Skatepark Action!

Welcome back to Thunder RC! In this video I take out my brand new Rovan XLT 45CC 4wheel drive monster truck and finish the engine break in proceedure. This 5th scale monster drive like a dream and sounds super good! Remember that I am running it rich on purpose to make sure that the piston and sleeve get worn in properly. I also take the Team Corally Kronos XTRZ for a spin at the skatepark but the action is short-lived because I clipped the guard rail on the ramp and broke a shock rod end. Love the Rovan cars so far brother, but I'm not a big fan of the Team Corally vehicles especially the Kronos XTR, it seems like they break if you just look at them wrong.

Nitro is a 2stroke engine . Just a 2 stroke that runs on nitro

Meh too much idling. I race motocross and an familiar with 2 strokes. Every piston change I do one heat cycle then ride it the way its gonna be ridden. You only get so long to seat the rings. I've been breaking mine in that way forever and never had a problem.
