Thank EWE ladies for another wonderful video. I love the size of the Christmas Bags as I am a sweater knitter. Had to stop the video to look for Sophie scarf yarn. Love yours!
Hi Michelle just a tip for your crochet circles. Since you don't have a pattern, and have not written it down as of yet. Record yourself crocheting one. Mention your yarn choice and needle size. That way if it goes on an extended time out you will always have a guild. Love the podcast, every minute.
Christmas Bag by Awesome Grannie...I love the Flying Pigs bag!! The Ewe bag is really nice too!! The Butternut sock set is beautiful! The fall colors here in the East lasted way longer then past years...so beautiful!
I love Darlene’s Christmas bags! She always does the best job! I love the pink Christmas tree bag so much! Ewe guys are the best! I like to put butternut squash in my fall chili recipe, though we don’t get much fall weather here in Florida, just more hurricanes. I always love when I see your videos pop up in my feed!
I'm gonna give this a try. Let's see, Christmas Bag, Awesome Grannie. We actually had snow here this morning in SOUTHERN Oregon, it was beautiful and we still have leaves on the trees. It's like having Fall and WInter all in the same day! Butternut Squash.
Always love your podcast. Your yarn vs project struggles are so relatable! Looking forward to the next one! Thanks for keeping me company while I knit!
Great seeing ewe ladies and enjoy visiting with ewe all and every one needs a Christmas bag for sure and for switching out projects happy knitting Joan
I used to sew everything and have thought about sewing bags…nah….I like to support others by purchasing from them instead. Lol. The Christmas bags are adorable. I also love the cottages with cozy warm light thru the windows 😊
Curious Handmade on Ravelry does the boxes to check off too. It really makes it nice. I just love watching ewe two and I really like the Christmas bags of Awesome Granny!
I love the Sophie Scarf, it is so 'chic'! You gals are so fun to watch. Leslie, I love that you got to have a weekend away. I was shocked with Christmas so close as well, last time I was in a retail store and heard music playing. love the Ewe bag and the Butternut yarn. Bags by Awesome Grannie has great bags. Darlene is so talented and love the Christmas Bag you showed. I have favorited her Knitting Chickens in her Etsy shop. Here is the thing with bobbins - you have to be organized and have an idea of close to how much yarn you need. Have a great week!
Birdstreet yarn is so beautiful and very squishy! I made some butternut squash soup this weekend along with some wild rice soup. Both are delicious and the freezer is now getting stocked. Thank you for the podcast. You both always make my day 😊
Michelle your bubble cardigan is beautiful, I love your colors. Every time you show it... it makes me want to knit one. I love the Christmas Bag, the dino one is adorable!! And the Butternut yarn is beautiful!! 😍
Loved the yarn sheep bag by awesome grannie and loved her Christmas bag! (I actually ended up buying one of her bags ). Merry Christmas to me!!! I also stopped in at I heart ewe and her candy cane and mice are pretty cute. You guys are so fun!
I love the Festive Octopus bag from iheart Ewe and I think I like the Crochet Flowers bag the best from Awesome Granny. I like Leslie's Christmas Bag too!
I absolutely love Awesome Granny! I have 3 of her bags-the Knitting bee, Itty Bitty Knitting friends, and an owl bag. I use all of them all the time. I will probably be adding the Pink Christmas bag to my collection soon. I just favorited I heart ewe on Etsy. She has some of the cutest Christmas bags. I'm partial to anything pink. The cross-stitch deer flat pouch just might be my next purchase. I love the butternut yarn. So beautiful! Great video ladies! It always makes my day when I see your video pop up.
my dog loves the pom poms and he's 4. i have to hide them and he's extremely well trained honestly they are just too fun for them! especially if they are real fur
So many cute Christmas bags - I love the gnomes. Ewe two are so fun to watch - I laughout loud every time. I love butternut squash and that sock yarn looks yummy. Thanks for the heads-up about Espace Tricot patterns.
I have followed I ❤ ewe for awhile now. She is so sweet and does a great job on her bags. Her lavender she buys local to her and is very fragrant.. I have one of awesome granny’s bags but I don’t have a Christmas bag! Thanks gals!!
Ewe ladies are uber generous with all those generous giveaways! The Ewe project bag and the Christmas bag. My favorite is Little Mouse large zipper project of the Iheartewe bag and the Swan Lake project bag by bagsbyawesomegrannie. The BUTTERNUT self stripping sock yarn is so lovely, reminds of butternut squash soup! Thanks for sharing, the awesome giveaways, and being my knitting friends while I knit! ❤️❤️
Omg. I just looked at granny's bags and can say that they are indeed awesome. Lol! If that seagull bag is still there when I get paid it may be coming home to me instead of a Christmas bag
I love Ewe bags! So pretty! I feel like I work on my projects more when they are in seasonal bags. There’s something about pulling out a Christmas bag that helps put me in the mood! Same way with Valentine’s, spring, fall, Halloween, patriotic that I can use throughout the summer as it covers Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. It’s also like I’m decorating for the season/holiday! I need to find Thomas Kincaid fabric to make some bags as I love his paintings! BagsByAwesomeGrannie has some great bags! Love the Santa Gnome and Lights & Christmas Village!
Ewe two make my day! Thinking about making some butternut squash today, it’s so chilly and and the “s” word is supposed to start tonight, before I make some Christmas bags for gifts. Thanks for giving me the courage to try knitting
I LOVE a quilted mid size bag. I really don't like big huge projects bags. I was searching for I love ewe bags on Etsy and it is not easy to find lol but I am going to try again after work because let's be real, I am going to have to buy one. Obviously lol. But I will also try to win. Thank you to the lovely makers who donated prizes for us to try to win. And thank you to you lovely knit wits for hosting (even though you two are definitely not nit wits). Key words : ewe and Christmas bags and butternut 😉😉
Ewe two really make me smile. I enjoy watching you on my days off. The snowman bag by awesome grannie is adorable, and iheartewe's bags are so pretty!! I can imagine awesome autumn socks in that butternut sock base ❤️
Oh my goodness, you reminded me of a 'white' memory. Decades ago hubby and I were shopping for furniture. In the store, the manager asked an employee to get the item for us. He literally turned to her and said, "But I'm wearing white." That has become a comment between hubby and I to express a ridiculous outcome 🤣🤣
I love Butternut Squash! I make a lovely soup with it. Here on the east coast we have had a lovely fall with gorgeous leaves, temps in the 70’s which is weird. However, we have had nor rain. 😔 which is desperately needed!
I too love a festive bag! The North Pole express and the Christmas Dino’s Christmas bag from awesome grannie are so very cute. The Cozy Animals and Little Mouse bags from I Heart Ewe are also cute festive options.
Leslie, I made the daily pullover and love it! Love the fit and the feel in the linen quill. I bet you'll really like it too. The neck line was a bit of a job but well worth it. Enjoy!
Ewe ladies are getting me into the Christmas mood. I may have to learn to make a Christmas bag this winter. My favorite was the tulip bag. I love hearing where you buy your bags and yarn.
Claire and Jon at Bird Street Yarns are just the best couple and their yarn is always so lovely. Jon really has an eye for putting colours together too. Beks is Claire's sister and they both have podcasts. The minis you showed us at the end are super colours. 😊
Christmas Bag - That Dinosaur Bag! My daughter would loose her mind over it! Awesome Grannie has beautiful bags ! Christmas Dinosaurs is the name of my favorite bag. :)
Yes, Espace Tricot is still putting out patterns and still has a podcast, but with two new owners of the shop. They are both great knitters and pattern designers and have already added several new pattrns. EWE should check them out.
So, it took me three days but I finally got to finish watching you! Went to Bags by Awesome Grannie and fell in love with Pink Christmas! This is funny as pink is normally not my color but I just love it with all the trees! Love all your projects and yarn! Still working away on my MKAL and may have fallen down the Hiberknitting rabbit hole also!
I buy way too more yarn and have never treated myself to a bag. Love the Christmas bag, and ewe has beautiful bags. Butternut squash has been on the menu alot lately.
One of our favorite winter soups is BUTTERNUT squash soup with some home made sourdough bread 🥖. As always I love spending time with you ladies! I still haven’t tried linen and quill yarn from purl soho yet. Ranada’s blanket is looking sooooo good!!!!
Christmas bag, I have several bags from awesome grannie and love them all! But I think my current favorite is the Santa’s with the little mushrooms and the library even though that’s not Christmas.
I Heart Ewe has such pretty bags, I love the Winter Sampler Flannel. And Awesome Grannie has so many adorable patterns, its hard to chose a favorite christmas bag, but if I must its the Timber Gnome for me. I'm not ready for it to be winter yet, that Butternut yarn is still my jam right now.
i'm terrible at it as well- and it just occurred to me this morning - now that I'm about halfway thru the blanket, I could just look at previous squares I've done and repeat them- rather than trying to come up with the combos. I think if these were MY favorite colors it would be a lot easier to combine them
That is my FAVORITE!! She listed it after we'd already made our selections- and what we got are adorable and very appreciated- but yes, that jar one is AWESOME!!
Ewe both are wonderful to watch. It’s that time of the year to fill a Christmas bag full of goodies! Dinosaurs at Christmas is a whimsical print. Oh, there goes my oven. I’m making butternut squash. Got to go. But seriously, it is always fun to watch what the two of you share with all of us. Thank you. Hopefully one day I can knit with you both. You need to have a gathering for us locals next summer at a park or something,( with restrooms). Bring. Your own picnic baskets, chairs and knitting. 😊
Ewe guys are always so much fun to watch. Even after all these years I love every hour spent here. That Christmas bag was so cute. I love all of the awesome grannie bags. They are so cute and practical!
Darlene's Christmas Bags are SO adorable! I'm drawn to the Timber Gnome because it reminds me of my Uncle who passed on Christmas Day 2020. He got the ultimate birthday party invite 💖.
Butternut - My home is in central Florida. I do miss seeing the color changing of the leaves and the smell of autumn.. But I do not miss the snow and cold of winter. Thank you for keeping me company while I am working on my Sophie scarf. 🐑
Since I’ve started watching you I have taught myself to crochet:, ordered linen quill and started a half and half, gotten hooked on Row1 minis and purchased sparkle yarn for the first time. You are both an influence on me (not sure if it’s for good or bad 🤣) but I think I owe you a thank you!
Great show as usual guys! I just purchased the same Christmas bag you got, Michelle from awesome granny... Thanks to you both...oh well, Who can't use another one? They're all cute so I would definitely take any of them!!!
