She's not being disrespectful or anything. She's a young woman and is still trying to build up her career, doing a reboot so soon, or before she's truly established herself separately from GMW, would be doing herself and the show a disservice.

Y’all do realize that Girl Meets World WAS the reboot(spin-off) for Boy Meets World- 😭

Tbh Disney didn’t do the boy meets world reeboot justice anyways. Girl meets world was still good but it was TOO PG in my opinion and didn’t really deal with normal and real things like boy meets world did. It was like they were living a fairytale. Boy meets world went through everything, and eventually went to them getting married themselves, going to college, transitioning to those experiences. It’s like full house, the original was great and so genuine, the reboot felt over eccentric and manufactured, still cute, but not as genuine as the original. There’s a reason both shows didn’t outlive the originals.

Rowan, is definitely one of those people that was portrayed so much differently on TV than in reality. I should not be this surprised. But, she got me fucked up when she started talking. She sounds way too mature, for a kids show of that era. 😂

Gmw wasn’t allowed to push boundaries that Disney wasn’t ready for. The last few episodes represented girls fighting over a boy which doesn’t represent Rowans message irl at all. I don’t blame her for not wanting to fake an interest in old fashioned plot lines

She never said she didn't want a reunion, she said she wouldn't like to play Riley again. We all know the horrible criticism they gave her for the way she acted, we can see it in the episode where Riley was bullied. Also, she has changed a lot so she can influence that too.

Some of you are Saying that she is disrespectful and changed a lot but ya'll are not looking at the bigger picture here i been watching a lot of these childhood actors for years because they been in my childhood since i was little and i grew up watching them and started to normalize growth and change people have to understand she moving on to better things and she doing stuff for herself and she focusing on her career doing what's best for herself people grow out of that faze and want to move on as they grow up but when you are on a show and it ends people move on with their life's and i love GMW it's just the love triangle between lucas,maya,riley its like they made her character selfish and made it seem like she wants lucas to herself and made it out to be like she didn't care about maya feelings and idk the whole thing was a bit werid to me and if i was her i whouldn't want a another season or anything like i just want to move on to something different in my life as well as growing out of that disney/whatever children network your on and move on to the big screen and also being called your actor name from a show you did years ago also annoys some actors as well they are only know because of their character and i can see why that's annoying off topic but i hope you guys can understand what she coming from

I was obsessed with girl meets world when it was airing. Honestly I still love the show and it’s a comfort show for me.

U can totally tell that she’s lying when she asked Rowan if she still keeps in contact with the “Girl Meets World” her expression changed & she tried to avoid eye contact so she wouldn’t have to answer the question fully & lowered her voice when talking about them. Idk what happened between them but it’s sad. Also she seemed uncomfortable talking about “Girl Meets World” & her Instagram. Some people online say that she looks like she’s on drugs or high & that she’s going down the wrong path so maybe that’s y she said “I hope that’s what it looks like” when the lady said “it looks like your having fun on Instagram” so idk it’s just my observation

although it is difficult for me to take her words, i fully support her and the fact that she continues to develop in the direction she finds right and really likes. The girl meets world show is my favorite, namely the character she played is my favorite part of the show. She made my childhood, as well as the time now filled with dreams, smiles and wonderful lessons and i am really fucking thankful about that.

Look, Ever since Girl meets world ended ,Ive searched Rowans name again and again. and I really missed seeing her on the screen. Im just happy shes here , I hope shes ok. Honestly , all i know about Girl meets world is that it came ata right time for me during high school , it is THE BEST DISNEY SHOW EVER!. Being poor, the failing economy , being a bully and being bullied and mandging your anger, having a past, ITS way beyond this mere standard of dates", luxury lives of kids portrayed in some other shows that i also enjoy.
