And of course the fact that all the technology is right at the finger tips to quickly throw together some epic dragon VFX along with some cool SFX and soundtracks! Very cool. Can't wait for the second season of the D&D skits!

You gotta admit, the dragon being yeeted out of the village was some hilarious CGI. Good on ya, Rowan. You did way better on a one day filming skit than I could ever hope to!

I beg to differ. That spinning PNG when the barrels exploded, that was epic. It's the epitome of pure brilliance and talent in VFX. I approve. This is quality content.

I almost believed that Rowan created this video on his own, but the perfect physics of the perishing dragon totally disclosed him.

I’ve just realized that this whole VLDL thing has been a front so Rowan could grow a mustache and play dress up and I regret not one moment of support!!

I preferred his solo acting from Baelin's Route. He sold that act so well with just that one line. He is such a great actor for all of his roles, especially carrying that entire movie by himself.

Having a glimpse behind the curtain was great, the costumes! These deserve everything!

This would definitely be a fun challenge. Having the crew do solo projects and competing with each other. Could even have a video where its just the behind the scenes crew doing a video with Rowan and the main on-screen crew doing the rest of the behind the scenes work.

The 'stach makes it look like Rowan should be posing for old-timey fisticuffs. Love the dice rolls. Just sad face that the barrels didn't destroy or set the village on fire and make Rowan's mustachio'ed twin say "ah, f!"

This works great as a pre-vis. It would be great to see this same promo developed using the full power of the VLDL crew. The way the dragon gets blasted into the sky had me dying.

I would love to see a sketch with Ben and Alan on Bored where Ben is on a Bluetooth headset talking to someone but everything he says seems like he is directly talking to Alan and every time Alan responds, Ben kicks up a fuss about him interrupting his phone call. And this happens a few but every time it just seems like the things Ben is saying are definitely aimed at Alan. Ben:“Hello! Hello! Yes you! Guy who works in the tech shop! Yes you! I’m talking to you!” Alan: “*sigh* are you talking to me?” Ben:”HOW MANY TIMES! I… AM… ON… THE … PHONE… so rude” Twist: Alan gives up and decides to wait until he is definitely talking to him, Rowan walks out and sees Alan ignoring this customer and guess what? “Thank you Sir, I’ve been trying to get the attention of your staff member for 10 minutes now”

Writing a script, filming, editing an entire video and releasing it by 5pm is super easy barely an inconvenience

I would actually love to see what you guys could pull off with 1 day of filming by each person. Maybe you could have editing done by the team as that's really time consuming but all filming, writing, storyboards, shooting and acting done by each member would be really cool as a mini challenge!

It's crazy to think of where you all started, and where you're at now. If I wasn't literally on the other side of the globe, I'd 100% be pestering you all to add my 20+yrs experience to your roster, cuz you all just seem to have so much FUN doing this!

can we please appreciate the skills of Rowan? He did the entire video in just a few hours, that includes storyboard, set, dress, multiple takes, editing everything and getting the digital effects done. Most people have no idea how much work all of that is, even though the tools help a lot, you still need to know how to use it and you still need to find some assets and get them to work in some way.

This was truly awesome! Loved being able to see a bit of behind the scenes process that you all likely go through when making a video. The concept was awesome too! I don't know just how long Rowan had before 5pm, but it got me thinking how awesome it would be, now that Rowan has done it, to see everyone else in VivaLaDirtLeague to try the sol challenge out as well. Alan, Adam, Ben, Britt, Ellie, Byron, Hamish, Phoenix, Robert, David and anyone else I've forgotten. Heck maybe even Rowan to do another one to participate all in the same theme for a different video idea for a solo film for each person. I really enjoyed the whole process and this was such an awesome video!
