BRILLIANT…..oh yes now the fabric…..oh different fabric on the side might be interesting …..I really like the statement dots as they are but I do love some sparkle now and then….I appreciate how You think out loud to solve a numbers ie inches centimeters….no rushing we are with You……hurry and come back as I am a visual learner and this is all making me SMILE

Great idea to adapt that folding out design. Always sounds funny when you’re on fast forward and you’re talking away. Like Sue and the chipmunks 😆Hope your rather vocal bird quietness down and doesn’t become a cat snack. Looking forward to seeing your box come together. Cheers, Christine

@@suzieqmakes the second one is started now and I’m really excited by it - an old “housekeeping” metal carrier turned into a vintage sewing pattern and haberdashery covered sewing box. Just like with food I always have bigger eyes than my stomach 😆

That is going to be a lovely box. That curtain fabric is gorgeous. I also remember you making that orange box. I wasn’t planning on making one but…maybe.

I know Sue, I wasn't going to either, but when the cat cleared my side table the other night I thought mmm maybe a box there would be a good idea 😁

Wonderful ideas, I made a sewing box for my mother at school, it only had a lift up lid. That was way back in the 60s. She used it right up to the end. Sadly I don’t know what happened to it, it was slightly battered by the end.
