I am going to see my Dad tomorrow (early Father’s Day visit) at the Nursing Home where he has now decided to stay in bed with his Dementia. It is now termed as the 3rd type of Diabetes. Dad started to get type 2 diabetes many years ago, and had a good appetite, now he gets fed little tiny portions of good foods and too much processed foods. This is his favourite Big “O” hit. I bet he will be able to tell me the year Roy played here in Australia. I hope this song and all the others I am going to play for him, will get him up and dancing around the place. He use to be the Lead Singer in a small Music Band up in Gladstone in his teens, and played on his electric guitar. I hope this helps to bring all those old memories back 😊

There was only one Roy and his music will still being played next century he will never go out of style you are truly missed Roy.

My grandfather has this some on CD and when I was younger and he used to pick me up from school we used to play it on repeat because he knew it was my favourite. My amazing grandfather is still here today and one of my best friends, just sad to know that we won’t be able to dance to this song when I become an adult and get married

Oh my, to all Orbison fans, you can truly tell Roy was at the top of his artistic blessings. to see him truly smile in pure joy. (makes me tear up) I still remember that day in 1988. he called his old song writing buddy, and said just give me a few days to rest up (coming off a tour) he died that same day. who knows what they would of written, but we all know it would of moved angel's. we miss you Roy, but your music continues to give us joy. Thank you Lord for the gift of Roy Orbison. final thought, I don't know how that audience sat in their seats without getting up and dancing.
