Nobody has ever outworked MJ in Chapel Hill and that's saying a lot with all the stars that have come from there. A bunch of people think MJ was just super talented and he was but he worked on his game all the time. When he got to the NBA he dominated from day 1 but when The Pistons beat him and the Bulls and roughed Michael up he realized that he needed to get bigger and stronger. So he started out working everyone in the weight room and he put on close to 20 pounds of muscle and got stronger and beat the Pistons ending their championship run and never lost again in the Eastern conference finals or the NBA finals

Yup! Such a major turning point when he practically didn’t take the summer off and worked on improving his physical strength instead! I remember my shock upon seeing how muscled up he had become after that summer!

Crazy just watching his old coach talking about him wanting to be the best player at NC, all while the coach is waring MJ's logo on his shirt.

There is not a single player that will outwork Kobe. From a training standpoint he worked the hardest, for sure. But it seems MJ didnt need to work as hard as Kobe.

RESPECT. AS FAR AS KOBE BRYANT...... I' PUT MAGIC JOHNSON AHEAD OF KOBE BRYANT. MAGIC HAS 5 RINGS. KOBE HAS 5 RINGS. THE DIFFERENCE IS MAGIC HAS "9" APPEARANCE IN THE FINALS CHAMPIONSHIP S. MAGIC CAREER WAS CUT SHORT BECAUSE OF HIS HEALTH AND HAD TO RETIRE EARLY IN HIS CAREER. MAGIC JOHNSON ONLY PLAYED 12 YEARS. SECOND' MAGIC JOHNSON AND THE LAKERS LOST TO A TEAM IN THE FINALS...... THEY ALWAYS CAME BACK WITH IN TWO YRS AND BEAT THE TEAM THEY LOST TOO. CHECK-IT...... THEY GOT BEAT BY 76ERS, CELTICS, DETROIT AND THE BULLS. THE FIRST THREE TEAMS I' MENTION WAS BEATEN BY MAGIC JOHNSON AND THE LAKERS. The second time around. I' believe that the lakers would have beaten the BULLS IN THE FINALS.....WITHIN TWO YEARS. YOU KNOW MAGIC TOOK IT PERSONAL WHEN THE LAKERS LOST IN THE FINALS. THAT JUST ME!!!!! !💯👈🏾🙏🏽✌🏾✊🏾

Well.. like what their trainer said.. Kobe worked harder but MJ worked smarter.. Kobe worked harder because he chasing MJ.. MJ chasing no one but himself
@dominiquewilson
@dominiquewilson Год назад
Kobe didn’t work harder in a smart way. Jordan knew how to take care of his body and knew not to over work when it was unnecessary. Kobe was just overworking himself for no reason which is why his body was breaking down

It feels like he trained too hard in my opinion. Lack of sleep and constant training all the time every day breaks you.

Typical white old coach, he was only good because of me.
@ragnarlothbrok8605

A lot of times it is the coach. Hearing that greats at anything needed coaching is a reminder that everyone works better, or almost everyone, in a team environment. They said Bell Labs was a breeding ground for ideas because it brought numerous scientists together who otherwise might've been introverted and off by themselves. The coaches MJ got to play for, his brothers, his dad, etc, they all contributed to what he became. Even the NBA players that he got to emulate on TV. Similar to how Alexander the Great was a great individual........but.......he also had Philip of Macedon to emulate as his father. That's not a black or white thing. That's a team work thing
