About Royal Blood:
Brighton duo Royal Blood comprising drummer Ben Thatcher and bassist/vocalist Mike Kerr formed at the beginning of 2013. They quickly made their presence known, with pounding drums and heavily distorted bass guitar defining characteristics of their ferocious blues-rock sound. The band gained many plaudits early in their career, touring with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Iggy Pop and Foo Fighters, before going on to win Best British Group at the Brits in 2015 receiving their trophy from their musical hero and admirer Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page.
Their catalogue boasts the Mercury Prize nominated self-titled debut album released in 2014 that spawned hits such as "Out of the Black, "Little Monster:, "Come On Over" and "Figure it Out", as well as their second successive UK number one album "How Did We Get So Dark?" released in 2017 which featured "Lights Out" and "I Only Lie When I Love You".

Royal Blood is a mix of many different styles of bands like Muse, Nirvana, Black Sabbath, Rage Against The Machine, White Stripes, Queens Of The Stone Age and others. It's so well made. In a few years this band will be receiving prizes and more fans and things like that. It's already one of my favorite bands.

This really should have been on the album. It was a big mistake of Royal Blood to not put it on the album. But I suppose it's sort of a advertisement thing, like the fact that people don't really know how Royal Blood get their sound perfectly.

Damn! I remember when I went to my first gig as a teen back in 2014. Royal Blood opened up their set with this banger. I was standing right in front of Mike during the entire show. I could smell the weed coming off him so now I relate that smell to him.

+Mateo Alar There's 2 similar notes but other than that this has a whole different sound i think, More bassy and heavy riffs mixed with little licks/solos here and there where as nirvana just power chords with lots of treble ,mid and drive. I see where the drums sound the same though but it's tricky to make a drum beat original nowadays, just my opinion

Wow, comments about who they sound like all the time? You're clearly wrong about all these grunge and early metal band names being dropped. Teletubbies and the wiggles obviously are the obvious inspiration for this bands sound. I think people just get confused because in their videos they aren't colour coded nor are they in a big red car, I understand how you guys can confuse this with Nirvana.

Another "sounds like" comment here :D When I first read about Royal Blood I was instantly excited seeing a new and innovative 2 piece band. I had a pretty long White Stripes era some 10 years ago. Now I'm frequently listening to these guys and this song is the one that I find the most Stripe-ish... Actually, it's the only song where I have noticed some sound similarity between those 2 bands.
