Forty years ago, my grandmother was collecting the B&G Royal Copenhagen Christmas plates, paying between $35 and $55 each for them. Yesterday I was in a consignment shop and saw a stack of 15 of them for $22,

I also inherited some plates that were my grandmother, one was valued for $450.00 in the late 1990's and early 2000,the value has shot down so much that they aren't worth $20.00

What does a number 3 below the royal Copenhagen Denmark emblem mean? It is to the right of the emblem, above the watermark. This piece is a 1717 910 rectangular Saxon plate. What is the worth? I can’t find this on any platform

Could be many things, the month it was made, the factory, location, could mean many things.

I have a tiny porcelain mermaid ,Royal Copenhagen, ,bottom is marked with a green crown, Denmark, #2313 with three tiny blue waves and the letters KF and I think the letter A. I've seen where it has sold for different prices and was made in the 1920s, I just want to know some history on this mermaid. We found this one in a storage shed in perfect condition. Can you tell me anything about this and what would be a reasonable value of one? On ebay one sold for $290.00

That price sounds about right.

While Royal C has quality products, the older company nearby in Europe is Royal Delft Blue in Delft, Netherlands. Of course, there is the Asian influence with Delft Blue, as well.

I went to a craft fair and they also had a barn sale. I bought several dishes for $10. How do I find out the value of them. They all have the 3 wavy lines on each dish...

You'll need to determine the maker and go from there.

I just bought a GRANDE PORCELAIN OF COPENHAGEN made in Denmark blue plate ( Julen 1975). It looks very similar to the Royal Copenhagen blue plate but I can not find any information on line about GRANDE PORCELAIN OF COPENHAGEN. Is this a third Danish blue plate company along with B and G and Royal or a complete knockoff? Thank you.

Could just be another company.

Great video, I only wish that you could have mentioned how to tell the approximate age of the items based on the marks.

Royal Copenhagen cost a lot of money because it is hand painted and hand crafted, edges and perforations are cut out by hand and filed by hand.
