Hey Warro, thanks for your feedback of the aftermarket rear shocks👌 Your honesty is appreciated 💪💪 That’s the problem with NSW… any long weekend is always a double demerit points slog that I hope doesn’t happen in Vic! That would suck balls big time 🤦‍♂️ . The helmet & microphone work perfectly even with an open face helmet & bubble visor 👌 Surprisingly clear & can hear the the beautiful classic350! Always enjoy the ride & your time doing content 🇦🇺💪💪

thanks...good to hear some-one comment on the clip. yeah considering it was windy -open face helmet and a fish bowl bubble visor...lol although at times slightly echoey it didn't really get the full on wind rush to wipe out the clip so all good there. yeah those shocks were shockers allright. i tried them on dirt and i got the shocks not the shocks...lol so that was it for them the classic 500 shocks although not perfect still do a far better job so they stay and call this test over and out...lol yeah i was a bit surprised i didn't see and mobile/stationary cameras. they were there the day before in both spots and the day earlier down about 2 klm from where i stopped. so never know where they are lurking here.

A tip I have learnt from rideing back roads around north qld if you smell dead Roos slow down because they often cross at the same place every day mainly early morning and late afternoon the safest time to ride in my area is in the middle of the day in the heat haha cheers
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro Год назад
yeah there a bit of an issue alright. plus i noticed a few big one on the side of the road. dead but when on their legs i'd say a good 6 foot. pretty big for greys. ive seen big reds but to see huge greys are something else. wouldn't want to touch one plus a few dead wombats about too.

A running-commentary approach is a good way to go, Warro. BTW, it does 'put the wind up me' to see you riding on the LHS of the road! After living in RHS-regulated traffic - Laos, VN and Cambodia - for thirty-odd years, you'd appreciate the cringe factor!
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro Год назад
there are times i think if i know what side of the road i am on...lol well not really but it sounds good. i might do a few ride and talks. that was a full take with no edits so a fair run really. mic worked well considering its corded and held together even up to 100 kph. i will have to try a run with bubble visor off and see how it handles that with just wind blocker
@nightsterfan
@nightsterfan Год назад
Thanks for the honest and tested eview on shocks. Watching you ride around and chat makes me want to go for a ride and enjoy our beautiful countey. Are you sure that white jeep on right hand side wasn't a speed camera in the sixty zone. Looks a bit suss. The Mic sounds ok. At present stuck inside because of rain.
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro Год назад
@@nightsterfan raining here too and pretty heavy to boot...lol yesterday 28c and today i think about 10C or heater and jumper weather. yeah those ebay shocks didn't perform especially when i ran the dirt section. then again not much good on sealed bumpy road either but ok on very smooth road which i have very little here. all good on that car. guy at house has been trying to sell it now for say 2 weeks. so it has for sale on its windows and when i first saw it 2 weeks back i thought the same. i was a bit surprised i didnt see any of the camera cars but there is one straight 2 klm from where i stopped which is a hot spot. one goes through a few tight bends to an open stretch and ive had cars power past me and right into the camera guy.....that would $iss one off...

@ridewithwarro Год назад
...or an outright liar...lol thats why i stick to small capacity bikes to keep to the limit. long weekend the roads are a bit busy plus school holidays too. next week things will be back to normal and party back on. raining today at 10C so cold/heater/jumper weather. yesterday was 28C so big drop there

Nice ride this morning with you Warrior. I cannot get over how few cars are on your road. Dead Roo's is something that we do not deal with here in Vegas. We have enough Vermin lurking in the shawdows here. Are you cooling off there? Thank god the 100 degree days are behind us.
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro Год назад
i actually thought the road was a bit busy and once school hilidays are over its back to not much traffic...lol or i think so. so your temps are dropping and this way on the rise. hope to get in and do a few ride-outs before the mercury gets up a bit. so your in the roll the dice county. looks good that way when i see it on the screen thats for sure all the best!

Hey Warro, just a quick question are the Royal Enfield 350 Classic an easy bike to ride? The reason why I asking is because I had a spinal injury six years ago and for the past Two years I am re learning to ride a motorcycle been using a Honda 125cc Grom to learn on. Thinking of upgrading to a bike like yours, love the colour and style of it. I bought a Honda CRF250L had it lowered but I found it too hard to ride. By the way keep up the great work I love watching your videos.
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro Год назад
i have a grom so its roughly the same seat height only 60 kgs or so heavier. i see no reason why you couldnt ride one plus its a far better ride suspension wise than a grom and its much softer in the seating side too.
@GeorgeConaway-w2b
@GeorgeConaway-w2b 8 месяцев назад
You can get the low-ride seat and lower shocks on the Classic 350, but they aren't really needed, I would say. I have a 27" inseam and bought the low-ride seat before I even rode the bike. It didn't feel quite right to me, so I put the stock seat back on and had no problems. The motorcycle is extremely friendly to ride. I have a Benelli with a seat that is about an inch higher than the Classic 350 seat and it is terrifying when it comes time to stop; the Classic 350 is no problem at all. I don't understand how this could be, but it is. The Classic 350 just seems to be easy to ride in every way. And the exhaust note, especially when giving it part throttle, will fill you with joy.

G'day Warro, l think it would be great to see you out on the roads lets us look at the performance and places of interest, no problem with the recording, dickheads in cars are always a pest, was out on Sunday on an old bike ride and some of the bikes can only do 80klm and some people have no patience or know hand signals, you keep safe Mate, Neil.
@ridewithwarro
@ridewithwarro Год назад
will see what i can do in that direction. i thought it was ok myself considering its a half open helmet with bubble viser and not much room inside but no wind noise or very little. yeah i was watchiong that car come up from hehind and hoping when i was about to turn off i didn't strike a car in opposite direction. i think you also mentioned your in for a mid week ride. all the best there too.

goes extremly well for what it is...20 hp and i think the 350's are the pick of the bunch. not as much power as the 650 twins and not as smooth either but still a feel good fun bike to ride and more importantly virtually trouble free for a single too. buy one -you wont regret it! if not i'd say dont waste your money but these new "J" motor 350's are really great rides. hardest part is picking which platform to go for.

yeah ive been running those stock 500 shocks now for quite a long time. seen lots of dirt roads too. maybe done 2,000 klm of dirt on them so for the low outlay -i think there ok. either way much better than the stocks were on the rougher dirt tracks

@@GeorgeConaway-w2b those ones i bought for the hunter which is roughly same length as classic 350 (red in colour) didnt fit. ive only ever used 500 rear shocks on the classic 350 i have used hagon on the 500 and found them about equal ride wise to the stock hunter so sold those to hard/firm i ran yss shocks on the ct125 trail and yamaha xmax 300 scooter did not like the overpriced piggy back ones like on the 500 classic but thought the stock yss shocks were ok but i'd still rather put 500 shocks on the 350 and adjust mid way. actually bit sorry i didnt pull the 500 shocks from the halcyon grey and put them omn the red chrome. if your just after a better ride comfort wise fit the touring seat
