Bike 2 in my 5 bike line up is the 2023 Royal Enfield classic 350 reborn. these 350cc models are by far an absolute hoot to own and ride and i would say one of my all time favourite set of wheels.
Hi warro, I've found that with mine with having off road tyres on it seems to going over the holes better here in the UK as the roads are absolutely disgusting as the government seem to be no longer repairing them as they like to send our money abroad. Keep um coming.
yeah i think mine rides bumps much better now and shortly it will be pointed to a good long haul backroad where it will get the chance to experience many bumps...lol i'd say in the next week or so. we do get our potholes filled a fair bit but the rain washes them out just as fast...lol till next clip.
@@ridewithwarro in South Wales and southern England they sometimes repair the pot holes, but they don't seal the edges so within weeks they are holed again. It's almost like the contracters are making repeat work for themselves..... They're the knobbliest tyres if seen on one of these yet! All the ones I've seen are quite mild in comparison. What's the make, model and sizes please?
Glad you enjoyed it. yeah after i watched the clip in the edit i too thought that was funny myself. i sort of try and do them in the one take and sometimes the crap flies...lol but overall it was a nice day in the scub apart from the flies
Excellent video Warro and makes me proud to be an Aussie. You actually got me to check out the bike instantly and got me interested. Love the old Royal Enfields that ran on everything from ‘kero’ to watered down cooking oil and this reminds me of one of those good old bullet proof bikes. Can’t beat the price. Stay upright brother.🖖👌
yeah the new classic 350 reborn with the "J" platform motor is a pretty good reliable ride. in fact i think any of the J motor variants, ive found them heaps better and virtually no issues compared to its bigger brother.
Thanks Warro I really enjoyed that 😃 These Royal Enfields are a little bike with a big heart! I don't have a 350 but I've got two 500 UCEs and a 500 iron barrel and I just love them. Good on you mate!
Good review thanks Warro. I like the rear rack. Been looking for side ones for my red and chrome but dealer hasn’t been able to get any for a while here in WA
Got out for a nice run yesterday, having a ton of fun on this little classic. Perfect fit for my life right now. I have the low rider seat, I got black on my Halcyon Grey 350 (inspired by you sir), looks super and very comfortable for me. Plus the decorative springs of course 😎 I hear talk of a new Classic 650 coming out this year - true?
if so its probably a twin and i think all these 650's are just 650 interceptors in another frame. either way the character of the 650 twin (although a better motor) still hasn't the charm of the classic single -350 or 500 just my thoughts there!
A man with taste! My 350 looks the same with these mods! You may want to try the Bar End Mirrors from Stadium to make it look even classier! Good on ya mate!
I totally agree Warro. The Classic 350 is perhaps the most pleasant motorcycle I have ever ridden, taking into account that it runs little, but it is a motorcycle that can be enjoyed without having to run. In addition, the robustness and construction quality is inappropriate for its price, it is really very well made. In my opinion, this bike could use a Metzeler Tourance. A motorcycle to enjoy for many years. Greetings from Spain!
thanks. ive set this up pretty well now to do several dirt road runs. fitted the pannier racks yesterday so next clip you see on this bike will be in more rougher style riding conditions in outback aust
sort of...lol and its ready to go off road say next week. two up with wife so since this clip pannier racks are back on and i think ready to roll. first off back to the bridle track
Looks like it from the 1950's even more so with the nobbly tyre's as that was popular back then cause of the roads were gravel, dirt etc.Be good off road being a torquey motor want a long 1st & 2nd gear.
@@ruahinesrider yep and getting it ready now to go dirt. maybe next week i'd say. got the pannier racks back on too just waiting now for the tyres for the vstrom 250 and its all systems go too. they may be here by end of month
Nice quick review Warro. It ended sooner than I thought! If you're interested there's a channel that has been rebooted by the owner. He has about 13 Royal Enfields from over the years to some of the current models. VolcanicBrown his channel is. He's based in Suffolk England.
I have the same red/chrome colors and I agree, it’s my favorite bike I’ve had. I especially like the seat, rack and mirrors. Did you get those all at Hitchcock’s? Tires are a nice touch, looks great!
That looks a very classy bike, Warro! The tyres are very well suited to those tracks, but would you consider dropping the pressures a couple of pounds or so to reduce the vibrations a bit?
The new tyres make the bike look like outback beast. I still prefer your new Suzuki 250 but those of us who have more than one bike have to enjoy them all😊👍🏍
it does a bit and the dirt road rides for me start mid week so hopefully good stuff coming there. suzuki side similar tyres ordered there motoz rallez i think. not in yet but should be arriving soon
Your tracks there certainly give the bike a good shaking. Do you have issues with the amount of dust clogging up air filters with your bikes over there ? Nice video Cheers
thanks. as far as the ir filter goes i have had no issues on the various bikes on dirt roads. maybe further out west where the dust is finer but in my area all is good.
Hi Warro! I have thought of getting the sump guard for my bike, but when you fitted the one to your Halcyon Grey you said that it caused too much vibration. Is this one different? Do you.think that the other one was substandard in some way? I think it would be useful on my bike, but definitely DO NOT want to introduce additional vibrations, especially as I tend to ride longer distances at a time - no short rides so far. Thank you!
i too was wondering about that but it appears not so. ive had no real issues vibe wise with this one and in reality i really hate vibration in bikes and would have picked it up very easy and if an issue would have pulled it off. so far not the case and it stays
yeah i bought it off ebay. must admit it didnt fit perfectly so i helped it out with a hammer...lol overall for $70 i still think it was a pretty good deal. i was thinking of buying one for the honda gb350 and it was $250 still wonder how they can make this for $70 delivered and charge 4 times the price for a honda one. this rack easily best value out there-just like the bike!
@@ridewithwarro Nice one, yeah as we say over here in blighty, if you can't fix it with a hammer, it must be electrical.🤣 May invest in the rack, I have the side pannier racks but test fitted them only at present. Planning to get it fitted out into a full touring mode as more funds become available, great video, thanks for taking the time to show us.
@@stevegresty4181 all good there. my side racks and bags are on now ready for some distant dirt runs to various places. starting that first clip mid next week. hopefully doing a two up ride with wife or thats the plan
thanks. i was a much longer drone clip but i'd have to chase some music to add to stop the boredom side so made it short and sweet. two drones used there -one flying camera version and the other the dji mini 4 pro. got a good clip coming up when i do my vstrom 250 sx review and used that flying camera on a pretty steep hill for tracking.
My question or observation Warrior is what happens to all the parts that are removed from original bikes. Huge market in after- market parts. The tires look bodacious on the Enfield. The whole look of the bike is quite eye appealing.
there just sitting around in case i have to put them back on. since this clip a few days back side racks back on and in a matter of days it will be time to do some dirt road riding and filming with camera and drone. plus the wife wants to tag along too so its a two up affair or may be...lol time will tell after first run out. all the best!
@@ridewithwarro 20 horsepower @ sea level. I live at 4000 ft elevation. every direction from here is up hill.. There is a formula for altitude power loss used in aviation I don't remember it. I think 8,000 FT elevation is 25% loss so maybe on a cool weather day here 16 or 17 horsepower.
@@tomstulc9143 the honda gb350 i have delivers its power way better and the vespa gts 300 will beat them all from start to 100 kph but all 5 bikes have their place so covered in all areas there all the best!
i bought the cl500 last yr and want something different. i got it 0 down and only made 9 payments. since you buy so many tell me how without losing my but
Its an awesome looking machine. However the north american dealerships are complete crap. The distribution is a complete mystery. I attended a demo days event and the dealership only had 7 royal enfield bikes. Great job! Say what you want be I less than confident in the service dealerships, distribution availability, and corporate leadership at Royal Enfield north America. Its not the motorcycles fault, its the people within the company.
heres what i can tell you after owning 22 new enfields. you could go buy a 350 reborn -do the oil filter change yourself and never go back near a dealer again. ive done that time and time again. if you said a 500 -not the case! but these new 350 reborns -very reliable i never take them back...lol nothing goes wrong. well now they have fixed the sticky speedo issue you watch where i take this one in next few weeks. i didnt fit those tyres to look at...lol just buy one-its a very good bike. all the best!
@ridewithwarro I have one. Just like yours. 2022 halcyon gray. I have done the oil change myself, and the valve adjustment. I also had a faulty speedo. I had to do all the calls to corporate to get one with the correct mileage sent to my local service dealership. They installed the new instrument cluster, it was loose. The service tech said "it's the best that I can do." I took it home, took everything apart, put a metal washer behind the nut. Situation solved. It's just the careless attitudes that I have encountered at these dealerships are a real turn. Then when I talked with corporate its like a total lack of communication. Just frustrated. Still love my classic 350. Due to your videos i have gained knowledge and confidence to handle things myself. Thank you.
@@aaronbrewer1742 never had an issue with installing the new cluster in fact i pulled the original out a couple of times. either way the speedo issue is or was the main drama with these. if you'd bought a 500 totally different story there and one would need more than a washer...lol great to hear you find the clips helpful too
