G'day Taym, ah, the Bantam D1; it was first bike I rode on the road, back in 1958/9.👍 Interesting to see the 150cc James Cadet, too. Glad to see that you're finally getting a few decent rain-free days, at long last!

Afternoon Mr TAYM. Great mutter as usual. We have been avidly watching the TT on TT+Live. Talking about the MD incident, we watched in the pits, spotted that his visor side cover was undone, then the chap just slapped it instead of doing a proper job……I bet he got a roasting for that 🫣 Typically the great British summer has played it’s part, so we have spent almost as much time, with the internet on telly waiting for races not to happen, as we have been watching them. When it’s a go, the racing has been fantastic, that Superstock race 🫣 How quick !!! I watched Darcy and his ancient dad on the Jawa, 😂, Jawa can’t get the oil pumps anymore so it’s back to mixing your own fuel/oil 😂, and people think RE’s are backward 🙄. I hope to be back out again soon, still struggling. Cheers

Watched a video the other day TAYM adventure diesel bike 900km on one tank, quite interesting 3 cylinder engine from a SMART car.

The weather is looking not too bad for the week as I make my return to Ireland and the UK! I have missed my second home... Keep riding and keep muttering! 👍👍😊

Lovely day there TAYM some nice bikes again the Speed Twin looked very nice I have noticed that Triumph is still listing the Speed twin 900 wondered if you ever tried it as opposed to the 1200 version and what the difference in feel might be .Very nice Essex Thunderbolt I must say , I will have to check out ITV X as I had no clue the TT was on there glad you mentioned it cheers TAYM .👌👍

Great ride round beautiful weather at last still not got out on bike busy with bldy garden😡🤷‍♂️but getting out today Friday on the rocket pop see Jake I think might ride up to Yarmouth then tootle back enjoying the scenery and watching for those speed cameras take care

Jawa was interesting but a bit pricey. If you look at their website they offer a few different models, including some four-stroke engined ones, and different tunings for the 2-smokers.

Ah yes that AA key was just so big! My Hunter is much more zippy than my Meteor - is it just because it's 10 kg lighter (Classic is 14kg heavier than the Hunter and higher geared because of its larger rear wheel. Best wishes and watch out for idiot drivers...
