Thank you, I have exact the same bike (same colors). Your video is very helpful I bought my bike end of last year, before winter. I reached today 1300 km with it but I think I will change oil just next year. When I will reach approx. 5000. km.
Its a Royal Enfield, it'll run forever! Not sure if warranty will be nullified if you don't. @fortnine did a video about oil after the break in period and the RE had the cleanest oil.
I really can’t decide or seem to pin which makes sense between this and a duke 390 (which I would just put dual sport tires on it) I plan to light adventure and do highway rides with 60mph limits but I just love the looks of the 411 but don’t dig the power compared to the 390
The Scram, I would say, is more capable off-road than on, especially at highway speeds. It will do the highway though. The Duke does have a lot more power, but I will say the Scram is a better looking bike in my opinion. I think you should test ride both and go from there.

Good day sir. I have noticed that you had mentioned Torontp, which suggests that you are in Ontario. Just out of curiosity, are you aware of any local Royal Enfield Scran 411 groups? I'm in Kitchener and as far as I can tell, I'm the only Scram 411 in town, as I had never seen one prior to getting mine and I watch for bikes all the time...
Same! I'm in Caledon, and I look out for the same bikes all the time. We have a high population of royal enfield riders in Brampton, but non seem to be Scram 411s. I own 3 bikes and only the Ultra I see a lot, the Sport Glide and Scram 411 I don't see much. I've seen 1 or 2 sport Glides and 0 Scrams.
@@streetsean I kind of wonder how many of these are in Ontario....considering that they only imported the Scram in 2023 (at least that is what I was led to believe). But either way, most people have never seen one.
I have had my scram for a month or so and have hit my 300 mile mark for first service. I was going to bring it to the dealer for them to do the first service then start doing them myself. The dealer wanted over $700 to perform the first service! Thats a third of the cost for the bike after taxes! My question was on the valve checks, did you perform them on your first service and do you have a tutorial for it?
Yes, valve checks in every service. I didn't do a video yet but was planning on doing one as most I see are for Himalayans (same motor though). Here's a decent one I found, a guy doing it for the first time. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jq_yUP4fA8k.htmlsi=r4vELhL-BVS6DJGp
I just simple turned off that service sight, okay I am leaving at western europe but dont worry, nothing will happen if you will not bring the bike to the service all the time, when that sight blinking. We have mandatory technical checks every two years for new bikes in my country. (For used ones anually).
Scram 411 user here from Mumbai. Clocked in 8,000 kilometers so far and waiting for 3rd service at 10,000kms to drain the oil out. Do you suggest using Royal Enfield’s OEM oil or would fully synthetic be better?
Nice! Really putting the KMs on it! Normally, full synthetic is usually better... However, the great thing about the royal enfield is it wasn't really designed for it. As for the OEM, my dealership here just told me to go anywhere and grab the correct weight of oil, so that's what I did.
Thank you again for the video. I did as You show today. Everithing is fine but I dont know why I aded 1 liter amd 650 ml Motul 7100 15w50 and my little glass window is full. Is it good?
@@streetsean Yep, I realized that after but anyway thanks again, now its on maximum, I mean on the second stripe but I think its fine, I added 1,65 liter of oil.
@@streetsean thanks I saved your video I hope you will not delete it in the future. Now I think I will take out the Air Filter and clean with air pressure but I will not change yet just next year. What do you think? The bike is in 1300 km now.
Thanks for the video! I'm about to to change mine as well. Is the oil filter OEM specific or is there a general one I can get? My dealer is over an hour away.
OEM spec, I buy 5 at a time with a free clutch cable on e Bay takes about 3 weeks from India. I fitred a magnetic drain bung first day, changed oil and filter at 800 km, 1600 km, 3000 km and then at 5000. Drain bung was fluff free at the 5000 change. Checked tappets at 1600 and 5000 adjusted at 1600, hadn't moved at 5000. Don't forget to drain the oil cooler using the 2 gallery drain bolts front left and right rear of crank case, gets about 200 ml extra out.
@@streetsean okay, thank you for the confirmation. Because we all know the capacity of the engine is 2 litres according to the Scram 411 specification. I remember when I did the service by myself and I shared my experience with my friends and one of them ask "the spec says 2 litres, why did you fill it only 1.5 etc". That question had me doubt for months. Glad I found your video and your answer. Thank you for the response! Good day!
Awesome! Yes, first at 500km to get any metal shavings out of the bike from the break-in period. Side note, we are flying out to Italy tomorrow for 2 weeks! Haven't been before but am really looking forward to it!👍
Well I couldn't help but notice that you don't completely understand women. Do you see those nice long fingernails. The reason women have that is to show people that they don't have to work in life. It was true in ancient China and it is true today as well.
