Me too iam owner of thunderbird 350 ,.now planning to buy interceptor...but still loving thunderbird. Is it worth to change bro ?? Which color u bought interceptor??

@@KrishnaPrasad-hg2ip It is definitely worth it. I have Ravishing red. But I insist you should try both interceptor as well as super metior. Comfort wise, TBTS350 was awesome, but this 650 on interceptor performs super.

@@talibkhurshidbudo9529 buddy if you are new to RE just go the showroom and test ride a classic 350cc .. You will never ever regret buying it. No maintenance .. Just drive safe and take care of bike and its services. My RE service cost me around 2k max .

On our roads, no doubt Interceptor takes the cake. Lesser weight, better ground clearance and good suspension for semi-broken roads and lower price. Also, the new version with alloy wheels is just around the corner.

Its because of the ergonomics or rather the rider triangle which is the direct result of the motorcycle design. Also, having a softer suspension will definitely compromise its ground clearance on bad patches of roads. Cruisers are not touring bikes

What an awesome gift paaji! I bought the new blacked out Interceptor 650 with the alloy wheels. Before buying I test rode both Interceptor and Super Meteor extensively. Three things that made me go for the Interceptor: 1) Due to the cruiser format of the super meteor the rear shocks are very small due to which the travel is less and they are sprung hard. Even minor ripples on the road are felt on the back. 2) Compared to the Interceptor the super meteor is very heavy. This weight is felt when you need to move the vehicle with your own power. 3) Since the engine is a stressed member of the frame in Super Meteor, the vibrations are felt a little more than the Interceptor which has a double cradle chassis. I'm not saying it's bad but you can feel the difference when you ride the two bikes back to back. All the best to you and papaji! God Bless!

The SM650 is a more comfortable bike overall but your tailbone and spine suffers in the long run. Interceptor on the other hand puts pressure on your knees rather than the back. However, no matter how sporty the Interceptor looks; I find it more comfortable overall than the SM650. Also, the alloy wheels update has made the INT even a better package than before.

Interceptor is a Roadster not a cruiser.

No, it doesn't scraped anywhere during our tests. This is primarily due to it's stiff suspension setup.

As you saw in the video, I myself own the INT 650. So, by default, I'm excited and hopeful about the alloys. However, the news of alloy wheels can't be confirmed until anything officially pops up. For now, all we know that RE has developed alloys but the possibility of their launch relies only after RDE norms become active i.e. April'23.

@@tejendhankhar I will be simply postponing my delivery of INT 650 Because it will hurt more if the Fresher version INT 650 comes out just after my bike delivery I am saving money over the last 2.5 years for this and It is a Dream Machine for Me at the moment If you receive any update on the newer version of Int 650, Please update me also God Bless!!! It'll be a not so happy place for pillion to sit with both legs on one side. It is due to the upswept exhaust cans. The rear footpegs are a tad high-set and hence it becomes difficult for the pillion to adjust their legs.

Tbh i think continental GT and interceptor 650 were not even designed for a pillion , giving a pillion seat was an after-thought

No. Tyre size is different of both models. However, there are rumours that Royal Enfield is soon going to launch alloy wheels for Interceptor 650.
