We hardly hear about the Royal family's of Sweden, Norway, France, Spain, or even Denmark at all. I have no clue if any of these other Royal family's in the world has even came to visit our country since I haven't heard of it so far. I also included the Royal Family of France because even if France is in their fifth republic but the royal family is still in pretendance rule in France. Also the Capet family is still out there we just don't hear about them. Also the King of Spain is a direct descendant of the Capet royal family of the Bourbon branch of the Capet Royal Family. Since he is a direct descendant of King Philip V of Spain who was the direct grandson of King Louis XIV of France. Also I to am a descendant of the Capet Royal Family through the female line of the House of Capet through King Philippe II of France. Mainly through his daughter Princess Marie the Duchess of Brabant. This line gives me the ability to trace my ancestry back to Charles I, the Great AKA Charlemagne all since Hugh Capet's grandmother was a descendant of Charlemagne. I believe most the so called Royal Families are just leaches, living off the tax payers money. How many descendants does each Country pay for, where a Monarchy still lives on.? Greece was the last smart Country to throw their Monarchy out, in the 1970's. Then the Queen, sister of the Queen of Denmark, and her husband the "King" of Greece, exiled to Denmark. I believe they are living off the people there. At least, living in a residence at the Palace, so get free room and board. Who else loses a job and lives like Royalty.? There are so many of them. Denmark in 2016 voted to only give a salary only to the Grandchild who is first in line to the thrown. Or else, they would be supporting 7 more families in Royal style. fredrika27 Anne's children can never become Prince or Princess with the style HRH as they're female-line grandchildren of the monarch. But if their father had accepted an earldom on his wedding day (which he didn't) Peter and Zara would have been styled as Lord and Lady. James and Louise (children of Edward) are technically Prince and Princess of the United Kingdom by right, but upon their parents's wish they hold no royal title. But they still have their claim on it, so they may want it back when they're grown up. Who knows!
