Anyone else notice that the Royal Flush gang is pretty much the Teen Titans Cast playing basically an evil version of the teen Titans, except with Hynden Walch and Tara Strong's characters' personalities switched?
Leigh Riddick That not What I meant. I mean is have you notice after the new batman series Joker decided to recruit Punk Ass kids into his gang instead of hiring fat strong gunman.
RubADubDubb I think that was the point. We get no indication that the kids had any other name besides ten, king, queen, etc so joker could've very easily named them their super names because he's joker and king queen etc would fit in. Plus as joker says if you have a past you make it multiple choice so he could've omitted certain details of how he got the kids.
When I was a kid I knew they were voiced by teen titans voice actors but was still a lil shocked that Queen the bubbly outspoken girl was voiced by Raven and Ace the gothic looking chick was voiced by Starfire cause I thought it was the other way around
Strangely enough, I think that Joker would be claimed a good guy for saving these children from the experiments of the government. :/ Then again, the Joker did thrust them into this game against the Justice League.
I like it how Joker somehow managed to enter into a "secret" government facility with no resistance whatsoever and how come the "headmaster" just casually opened the door without recognizing the Joker? Either the Joker is good at infiltration or security just sucks. And I guess it wasn't so secretive after all if the Joker knew about it somehow...
That's because everyone in a comic who isn't a costume-wearing hero or villain is utterly useless and incompetent. The Joker wouldn't last five minutes in our world, and it wouldn't take the forces in a top-secret government facility to stop him. The local police would be able to do it pretty easily.
Life and Death so you think that feeling no pain = invulnerability? And being strong can come from uncontrolled adrenaline that flow through your body. And to think that would enable you to lift a building is just stupid.
Solus Darkcoat Granted they didn't mention it (honestly I thought the same) it's implied he has the durability to match his pain threshold. How his shirt and the food he was eating didn't get destroyed, well it's a cartoon. Deal with it :)
Solus Darkcoat true there is a disease like that but he could take it to a metahuman extreme where he can be super strong, feel no pain, etc. remember that in their world somebody like croc can become super powerful thanks to a skin condition and said skin condition would be labeled metahumna whereas in real life croc would be struggling to stay alive.
I honestly believe that every victim of joker's poison gas died. Even if it's in a kid's show like The Batman and Brave and the Bold. Probably because I saw the Nicholson Joker first
Yeah I believe that the creators of the show said that since they couldnt outright kill people most of the time they just had them laugh to death. However,in Batman Beyond Return of the Joker Bruce almost dies because of the gas
M28tan the movie was rated pg-13 so they could get away with more the same way in the film they outright kill him onscreen by shooting a Bang flag into his chest and later they do the same to bonk. I think that the original Network btas was on they couldn't show murder only imply it like a Disney movie (like poison ivy falls down a well. She doesn't die onscreen but we know what happened) but once the show moved to a new channel they were able to show murder onscreen. I just figured they couldn't stop with the laughing gas thing because it became a staple of the series the same way btas rewrote Mr. Freezes backstory.
+justinjacques766 Uh... I guess 10 is analogous to The Juggernaut, maybe King could be considered similar to Havok, Queen would be Magneto (or more fittingly Polaris). Jack... I don't remember an elastic guy from the X-men, but Reid Richards from the F4 had the same powers. Ace is a telepath with the power to make her imaginings take physical form, so Psychic Constructs, which is kind of a broad category of power, so I suppose... Psylocke, at a stretch.
I think the characters are supposed to look like their respective voice actors in this one XD and the TEEN TITANS, my all time favorite childhood action cartoon!!! XD but the voice for King does not sound right...or just scott menville for himself for that matter..
You think by breaking into a government facility that after he lot the government didn't simply kill Joker themselves. Breaking into one should get the death penalty; at least I think it does. Either that or life in prison
+ShadowWriter45 Yeah, but there are two problems there. First they had to have found the Joker, and he's pretty good at disappearing, especially considering his unique appearance; and secondly they would then need to go through the RFG to get to him. That means taking on a nigh indestructible super-human, getting past a woman who can (in theory) stop bullets in mid air, or tear their guns out of their hands, brave King's fireballs, and somehow also maintain a mobility advantage over Jack.
ShadowWriter45 considering this is joker i think he might've omitted certain details. Like maybe he did rescue the kids but he made it more dramatic than it was.
That's right. Ace's royal flush gang was actually just a band of mind controlled freakin' vulnerable citizens. Why doesn't anyone learn self defense these days?
So is Ten's clothes also indestructible. His clothes did not melt either. And I guess Jack's clothes are also very flexible if they expanded with him. LOL!!!
+JLPerryTV Same goes for Supes. Maybe it's the same principle, where a minute force-field offers a degree of protection a millimetre or two around the skin?
+Sir Boast-a-lot Joker. Batman values order which involves a lot of lying. Joker on the other hand prefers chaos and hysteria, and the truth can cause mass hysteria
the true hilarious part about this besides the fact that they have the same voices of the teen titans, the character designs (besides Ace) look similar to their voice actor.
I hope they know just because he can't feel pain that doesn't mean he is completely invincible, especially with the flame thrower, what if he burned alive and died.
I watched Justice League before I watched Teen Titans. Then I rewatched a few episodes of Justice League and I came across this one. Then I heard the voices again and my first thought was "Awww MAAAN! Why couldn't they make Robin hotter????" -_- my life....
My mind messed up right now tara strong should have voiced ace not Hyden walch im so messed up right now 😯😕😡😦 BTW hyden walch voices starfire from teen titans and tara strong voices raven from teen titans
