Benedictus from the Armed Man performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as part of the Classic Spectacular concert in the Royal Albert Hall, London. November 2018.
Long after we along with the princes, presidents, billionaires, influencers and sport stars of today have become mere footnotes to history this music will still be moving people to tears. It is a comforting thought.
Hi Steve, It is an amazing piece. I had tears as I filmed this as I am a musician myself along with my father and this was one of his favourite performances before he passed.
@@tonyg6302 This piece, particularly Benedictus, motivated me to volunteer work here in Richmond , Virginia. I spent almost two weeks silently mourning in my kitchen as Ukraine was on the verge of being attacked. It’s a long story but it lead to me being able to sponsor a Ukrainian family. Today I played some of this piece on my very warm hike. Thank you for this beautiful video!
I'm from the United States of America 🇺🇲. I enjoy Jazz 🎼. Malaki B is a child. A blessed child with a gift. England sharing its beautiful peaceful music to the world. And now I'm listening to opera. I don't understand what happened. But with a 🍷 I'm enjoying every second of it. 🇺🇲🇬🇧 ❤️ 💗 💓
I've been waiting to hear this performance. Couldn't get down to London to see it performed in person. This is just wonderful. Music for the soul. I am in awe. Thanks for uploading.
