Bobby Witt Jr. again coming up short for the cycle, Pasquantino with 3-run shot for insurance and Salvador Perez with a double. Pitching was good. Royals get first win of series
Let's go Royals. Bobby Witt definitely deserves to win some kind of MVP award this season. Thats some BS by intentionally walking Witt when he needed a triple to get a cycle
I really don't understand this type of thinking. So the Reds did the only logical thing (it backfired, sure, but in that moment it made sense) and somehow you are angry at them because they wanted to win the game more than give Bobby a 1% chance (I am guessing the percentage of triples AB is around that) to have a cycle. What kind of reasoning is that? Why should they care about his cycle, lol? I mean if it was like 15-0 Royals, sure, ok, but it was a competitive game
Right on the cusp. They will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I'll say it again, it is management...and I am NOT the guy who rants about managerial/coaching changes. It will be the Marvin Lewis Experience all over again if not addressed sooner rather than later.
I'm not usually big on blaming managers, but I'm afraid David Bell's gotta go. We never seem to win when we play poorly. That may sound obvious, but I see teams (Milwaukee comes to mind) that play sloppily and make mental mistakes, and still eke out wins here and there. If the Reds aren't firing on all cylinders, they don't have a chance. Like to see a little scrappiness.
LOVE IT!! my Royals come in to my home state, and play tremendously!! I so wanted to drive to Cincinnati to see them play!! Witt Jr. Showing some MVP talent as well, keep it going K.C.!!
Let me be the first to say GOODBYE to David Bell for the game Aug 17 the when you should have brought in anybody for lololol but no he wasted his whole bullpen fire him Now!!✌️🇺🇲
