You Joyce 🔌Ed in, why they(him em everyone stayed away from that stuff, Makes me think of Amazon stepping stones. And if you actually help to get like people like bizarre that far.I wonder if I could just picture it though yesterday.Oh i ruined by morning, day hopefully not longer lmfao
Push was meant to have a verse but if I recall correctly he had some personal things to deal with. I could be completely wrong but I think it was related to the death of one of his friends.
I think Royce said that he couldn't do a verse cuz at the moment this song was in progress someone in the family his family was dead or was at the urge of death so he sent him just the hook
@@bibeksapkota8221 all I remember is that it was an interview Royce did for book of Ryan he did so many interviews in that period of time I don't really remember which one haha sorry checl genius maybe they will anotate it if the didn't good luck watching his interviews haha
Reuben Frank I think book of ryan has plenty of playback value tbh, im still listening to 50% of the album almost every day - i would've mentioned daytona but as you said, its really short and i dont really wanna put a 7 track album in the same category as a 15-20 song project. 7 track albums should have their own category imo
@@riddlerguy4599 Lol explain how hes more over ratted? N how is royce under rated ? I dont think u know what it means... Royce is dope but.he gets the credit he deserves ... Fab dont ... Fabs always on point.... My fave on the track is Jada but hes not under or over ratted either
Nos Pls you have to be more specific. I looked it up and bar exam 4 came up. I don’t have the patience to listen to any hip hop projects nowadays unless it’s coming out of Griselda.
Robert Hall lyrical rap even in the 90’s has never been mainstream, yes it’s really popular... but it’s not mainstream. This would not be a top 10 hit in the Hot 100 in the 90’s, people who don’t understand english/kids who can’t comprehend lyrics yet can’t bump this. This Royce song and album is still popular among hip hop heads which is great considering he’s not young and while rap is not 100% a young man’s game, from a commercial standpoint it kind of is But the Hot 100 has NEVER represented quality music
Robert Hall are there mainstream lyricists yes, but when their songs chart high it’s cause the song is accessible and has a pop-ish element to it. Kendrick’s biggest song commercially is Humble for that very reason. Not saying every song on the Hot 100 is wack, I fucks with Humble but Hot 100 is more business than anything
How the hell didn’t this song blow up when it came out it literally had legends and some of the best lyricist on this earth 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥PLEASE BRING REAL HIP HOP BACK!!!!!!
If anything they should be playing nothing but Ka since his album is as good as it gets and he's not only from New York but he serves New York as a fireman too. Check out "The Punishment of Sisyphus" by Ka and I can guarantee you'll be blown away
@@jitendersharma8845 we can't really say he took it if he added on to it by connecting jesus to living another life & blasting someone twice "You a target, I'd probably blast you twice Alki rapping with passion of christ"
Shouts go out to Royce for Getting together such an Elite Team for a fire Collab, ( Which isn't Done Anymore in this Day & age, 😕) Still tho, i came here for BARS & Wasn't Dissapointed
@@YBFMusic In that income bracket, half of your income goes straight to the government. Therefore, in order to comfortably pocket $100,000 to spend as you'd like, you really need to earn $200,000.
@@YBFMusic in business they say u cant "afford" something unless u can buy it twice. Ex. If shoes cost 200. If have 250. U cant afford them. Wait to you have 400. After the $200 purchase you would have $200 left (the same amount of the purchase made). Accountants teach that when they first hired by you.
Been a royce fan since before he beefed with D12. Royce was really deep in the street life. He turned his shit around and He has always been a lyrical monster. The last few years you can tell he is finally comfortable with himself and they way he was in this video proves that. More confidence in self...not to be mistaken for self confidence.
Pretty funny to make music videos for Caterpillar and Summer on Lock when Book of Ryan is such a personal and emotional album, I love those songs though so i'm not mad, hoping to see Power or Cocaine next !
Yeah, tho the tracks they selected for singles off this are prob the most "mass appealing" he has done. Tempo wise. I personally would love to see video for cocaine one of my fav new tracks, and hell they did one for bablo boat.
That fuckin Jadakiss verse is so slept on bruh not only is bro rapping his ass off but telling a detailed heartfelt story all in one.... Like I felt the verse so deeply
That's right night!!!this is real hip- hop...real bars...with REAL RAPPERS!!! Nice to see Jadakiss back in action we need more a whole lot more BAD MEETS EVIL 2!!!!
@@bigaparker1977 There's youngins that fuck with this song too tho, they making music for the hip hop heads They not trying their hardest to get a top 10 hit, this song gonna be popular regardless cause all the hip hop heads fuck with these guys/this song
This album is a fucking classic. No skippable tracks. Royce is definitely 1 of the top lyricist/ rappers ever. Crazy underrated. THAT BOOK OF RYAN 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣💣
