I was there last night for game 2, insane energy. Like a lot of Minnesotans I was a casual fan these past 21 years, following stats but not really watching games. A friend suggested we go to the game and I was not disappointed. I was in college for 91 and that was the last time I was this excited for this team. They are good. If they beat Houston(will be tough) it will be their first second round playoff win since 1991

Royce is such a breath of fresh air for the Twins. Yea the “Im him” thing is a bit cringe but damn the kid backs it up. And at the end of the day he really has a ton of humility for a young star and almost always defers credit for anything he does

With Houston being all over the place this last month, the Twins strike me as the sort of team that somehow makes it to the World Series despite being mediocre for most of the season. They have a solid three man rotation in Gray, Ober, and Lopez. Their core bullpen is solid. They hit for power and with their pitching, they don't need many home runs to win.

The announcers were talking about Gausman tipping his pitches. Would be nice if you could somehow find out exactly what was going on.

Not only in real life is he a beast but also on MLB 23. I was up 3-2 over Kansas City and I smacked one out of Target Field with Royce for the insurance home run in the 8th inning. Won the game 4-2.
