Here’s an install or somewhat of the RPM performance intake system for the Kona N, also fits elantra N and i30N from what I’ve seen!
WAS SO WORTH IT, much more top end power and doesn’t downshift as much on cruise control to build boost. Car has increased from 22mpg - 34mpg with eco mode and stop and go traffic. But with my driving it’s more like 18-20 haha

Just installed mine today. Took me an hour and only cause I watched your video like 5 times 👍. You were right putting the intake on the turbo inlet was a pain in the butt.

Use hair spray it acts like a lube but when it dries it's sticky so it'll add a extra layer of adhesive

Definitely! I checked your video out bro, I had the pipercross filter before the intake install and it got WAY louder after putting in the RPM Turbo inlet + intake

I love it, I got way better gas mileage. Low end torque with the car showing up to 300lb/ft on the digital gauge, also top end power is great you feel it constantly pulling until redline now! 🔥

@@stephencorbo9164 It’s definitely a big difference I noticed a 5-10mpg increase and less downshifting when on cruise control. Keeps the RPMs down because of the torque gain I believe!

Definitely a huge increase. Worth every penny. Will be getting a tune soon, can’t decide wether I want JB4 or full on ECU tune. Just getting every supporting mod before I start making some real power!

@@FastKonaN I think JB4 is a safe bet. So even without a tune you felt a decent difference? That's impressive. I've read without a tune, it may effect low down, around town torque, and make a little less. But under WOT, it's quicker. Notice any of this or it's overall better?

@@defaultdaniel So yes I have to be honest about my mods. It definitely felt like I lost low end torque with the blow off valve. Since I know it would recirculate boost to keep it up at the low end. So now it takes a minute to get going, but let me tell you when I installed the inlet/ intake. You can literally feel the boost build up and push you into your seat. Downsides are low end but the boost creep/ build feels very violent and I love it 😂

@@FastKonaN Really the BOV made it feel like you lost HP? That's crazy I thought they don't effect anything - really just noise. You installed the BOV first and before the inlet? I guess the inlet is safe then.

@@defaultdaniel Yup BOV was one of the first mods, not so much a loss of power but when you let off all the boost escapes. The upside of the BOV is the boost is super consistent since it creates a better seal so when you’re at full throttle it’s not going anywhere.

It wouldnt void the warranty. I literally went to a dealer with a jb4 on the car with a blown turbo and they warratied the car 🤷🏿‍♂️ it's dealer dependant

Turbo inlet doesn't change a single thing. Just because it's bigger doesn't mean the engine is gonna magically suck in more air. It's made that size for a reason. On the other hand the cold air intake does make a difference because the air flows more freely do to not the size of the pipe but the fact that the piping is straight with out those gloves on the plastic intake tube and because of the filter itself. Y'all shouldn't waste money on the turbo inlet. Does nothing..

To each their own, it definitely looks better that’s for sure, the turbo opening is only so big so I agree with you. The inlet goes from a small hole which is the size of the turbo opening, then expands to make it seem like you’re getting more air. I got this kit because I didn’t like the way any intake systems looked and this was a 2 in one combo that fit the stock air box. Which is what I like to call OEM +

No doubt it looks bettet. But performance wise does nothing. I think AEM does the cold air intake tubing the same size, again cause they know what they're doing and know that bigger tubing does not do anything for performance. Don't get my wrong I love the way your intake looks with the fat tubing looks mean but yes, to each they're own. Good job on the install btw

All of this is false...the unitronic turbo inlet for the audi RS3 has proven 15-20 hp gains. Even though the turbo inlet size stayed the same.

I’m not worried about warranty anymore after hearing all these claims about peoples engines blowing or transmissions with Hyundai not quick to pin the problem being the customers fault. So far I’ve done my own oil change and documented and all these other mods.

I've asked my hyundai dealership about voiding warranties, and essentially you can anything to your car and still have the warranty, only when they determine your mods were the cause to an issue is when you void the warranty
