In this video I look at the new RS Regulate AK-307 side mount for Yugo Npap, Opap, and m70 style rifles. RS Regulate has been making innovative AK side mounts for a few years now and their new modular system is their best yet. The AK 307 is the best mount around for Yugo AK rifles. Yugo AK rifle have a unique side rail mount vs other AK variants making it difficult to use other mounts available. The AK 307 is the first mount designed specifically for Yugo AK47 rifles. NO TOOLS NEEDED!!!....I learned the hard way following instructions from this video and damaged my lock bar.The screw is adjusted off the rifle by hand with that said the RS Regulate mounts are outstanding products and even though expensive they are worth every penny. No trolling or bashing intended..... Knives, guns, & gear.

when sliding the mount to the riffle push it all the way until it stops then lock it,if it is loose take it out of the side and tighten the screw 1/4 turn out of the mounting rail,slide in again and lock it it will not move with recoil unless its not all the way in,i went through this process and its perfect now.

Well...that didn't take long. I just ordered this set-up for my O-PAP. After a few more hours of research, it's obvious this is designed to perfection for the Yugo M70s.

do not tighten the screw wile its on the riffle you may damage it,only tighten 1/4 turn at a time wile out of the riffle.

That looks great! I prefer the side rail optics mount for AKs just because it's a solid lock up. The RS Regulate has some of the best AK optic mounts out there if not the best. The AKs that I'll be using optics on with have the RS Regulate mounts. The price is great too for what you get.

I just installed the same scope and mount on my NPAP. I used Primary Arms 30mm rings (low) and its perfect. My Npap has the the black furniture and tapco stock tube so it sits lower than the wood stock.

Great video, and I just learned about RS Regulate products which look fantastic...ordering a BM-1 and a couple of BM-2s...but dudes...that's a big mass of metal all up and around the left side of the receiver! Not a very 'elegant' solution as compared to say a BP-01 or BP-02 on their compatible AKs. May likely buy this exact set-up for my O-PAP, but I'll explore a little more.

Is there a stop to keep the rail from moving forward under recoil? A properly designed O-PAP scope mount should hit the raised rail at the rear of the receiver mount when the scope mount is slid all the way forward - does this one???

It still moved didn't it? im sure it did because mine did. It's designed for the bottom half to go all the way forward to the recoil stop.

What mount would you recommend for a holosun 403b green elite/ 3x magnifier for a ZPAP M70? This is my first ak and I know absolutely nothing about them now! Unfortunately, my eyes are failing in me and can’t really us iron sites that well anymore. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

What model is your Primary Arms scope? That's a very nice setup! The RS Regulate mount is very expensive but what's the saying, buy once, cry once or something like that. LOL

I am struggling with the decision to spend $200 on the RS Regulate mount system or modify a cheaper mount. The RS Mount along with a moderately priced red dot ($200ish) will add $400 bucks to the gun. Hard to swallow. Thanks for the video. I am now leaning towards the RS mount.

RS Regulate just released a Century Arms mount this month, Nov 10th! The AK-309 made specifically for the new Century Arm's side rails. I just picked one up from atlanticfirearms.

t77snapshot thank you very much. I'm buying one right now for my vortex Strikefire. I called century arms Monday and they told me RS Regulate and Midwest industries were said to be working on a mount for the c39v2

You're welcome! For the Vortex Strikefire you will also have to get the 30mm Upper Modular Mount for the AK-309. They're way pricey but not many choices out there for the Century ak's.

I just got one. Tried on 2 npaps and doesn't slide on with ease. This product is not the truth. I followed instructions and everything. Waste of my money.
