Just a quick tip. To release the epoxy if things don’t go well and you need to start over, a heat gun or propane torch will allow the epoxy bond separate the parts. This will mean that the light is trash. This method is used for reshafting golf clubs heads.
Hell yeah! Always love the little tips that save people money and time. Thanks for watching, commenting, and helping others out along the way. Hope you and yours are staying safe and healthy!
There's a light I like on Amazon but the full bucket version uses clamps on the forks for my Yamaha Bolt and I'd have to do away with my quick release windshield. They have a standalone model that uses the stock bucket so hopefully this channel and video will help.👍
People keep commenting on how informative these video's are... I don't see it. I think these tutorials are (frankly) worthless and I haven't found a single video that he's done that actually helped. It's a good thing he quit wasting his time on these. He wont show important removal info but show him pulling out a plate and opening epoxy... WTF.
Hey great video I'm stuck on the rubber that goes around the headlight, my old headlight doesn't have one. Is it something I need to buy seperate? If so what's the exact name? Thanks!
Hey brother, not sure if you looked and found it, but if you are talking about the rubber ring, I left a link in the video description. Check it out, I believe it's under fifteen bucks on Amazon. Thanks for watching!
We say that cat skinning saying here in Michigan as well.. Nice video Bryan. I changed out my bulbs to LED.. both head lights and fog lights. I love being able to see everything...Also ... I'm not sure why but I like it when you say epoxy..lol
🤣🤣 epoxy! I said the saying to Meagan, and she had never heard it. The LED cane out pretty bright, and I'm super happy with the way it looks. Gotta adjust it a little more, but it's almost set. Hope you're doing well brother!
Just a random call out, but the link for the headlight has on the second photo text promo of how much brighter it is than others and it says 10 per "cent" brighter than other lights instead of (%). Cool light though may upgrade to it.
I didn't even notice that! That's funny. Probably their way of not having to really have it be ten percent brighter. I just used that one because someone else had used it and posted a link to it on a Facebook group. Figured forty bucks, couldn't go wrong, thanks for watching and commenting brother!
Hi Bryan Just purchased a Warrior 1700 and came across your channel. Well done with the channel and much respect. I’m looking for that rubber filler for the LED light replacement you used... any suggestions ? Where did you get yours ? Thanks Al
Thanks Brian, I have a 2002 and it only has 5,000 miles on it. I really like this bike. Ive had this bike for about 2years and I enjoy the feel of a real bike. I enjoy your videos. Thanks for your Mods and advice.
Im not certain of where you placed the J B weld was the some placed on the tabs by the side mounting screws or just bottom and indents where the adjuster screws pass Thnks great videos
Man, dropped the ball on that. Honestly didn't even think about it. I got the one shot of it working in the title sequence, but should have shown it all together in the end also. Thanks for watching anyways, stay safe out there brother.
Hey man, thanks so much for this video. Extremely well done, and informative. I'm about to pull the trigger and do this mod, based on seeing this vid. Going through Amazon, I'm seeing 7" options for these headlights. Any opinions on them? Just wondering if the mod would still work, and then the gap could be taken up. Cheers
Hey, I appreciate you watching and commenting. As for the seven inch, I'd go against it. Everything that I've heard says to go with the 5 and 3/4 with the rubber filler. There is another option as well that guys are doing from Amazon that is a direct swap, no modding needed really and runs around 130. If interested, I can try and find the link for you.
Hey, this is a link that I was able to find on Facebook that someone had used. Notice that it doesn't say it fits the Warrior, but in the reviews, someone used it on their Warrior, and since it's been used by someone else on the group, I believe it should fit. amzn.to/3g7zWiI Hope that helps!
