Had my warrior for 3 years now and I’m just finding out about this, I haven’t had any problems with it yet but this will definitely help me out if i do, thank you.
I ended up taking them off. Those were the bars that came on the bike, it was wrecked, one side was slightly bent, you could see it really, but when you went full turn that one side would hit he tank. the other side was fine though
I have code 38 The decompression open short you’re saying this may be a computer related issue versus an actual decompression solenoid issue is that correct I’ve been trying to troubleshoot for a while
Its possible. I know the ECU I have has an issue with the decompression solenoid circuit because I have plugged that ECU into multiple warriors and it always displays that trouble.
I wish I saw this earlier, I just dropped my warrior off at the garage because I couldn’t figure out this steady squeaking noise coming from the carburetor area.
Bumzhi Biker Bandit yes, these geniuses said it sounds like a engine problem and they need to change the oil as well because it would be bad to put dirty oil back in ect. 2 hours later they called me and said it was clogged air pods and it was this whole big ordeal to take off the tank because I have the BVak and someone put the air pods on wrong and they can be cleaned because they are cheap air pods. I knew it was bullshit because I took off the tank several times in the past and 2 more hours of labor at $125 an hour just to take off my tank and change the air pods which they were probably going to use a $16 cleaning kit. So the Idahoans oil change and I bought a cleaning kit from them for $16 came out to $200. They they tell me something is rubbing on something causing the squeaking and I’m like which is it? The air pods being clogged or something from that area leaning of something, now it’s both. I paid and took my bike home and tomorrow I am going to clean the filters and see what’s hanging up.
